I think that these pics were taken in Zoo_infected2, which I uploaded and just recently updated.

It's very possible that it'll crash when loading it as a warning.
This is the main hud but for survivor pictures search the workshop for Eranthis's other mods. His stuff is beautiful
good question, the only textures from the l4d2_test under the infected textures, is only the l4d1 suit infected.
Yeah, if you use the l4d1 common infected population mod it only works on single player or Local Server.
That's because it only applies to the male suit common infected, it also applies to the male tie common infected because they both share the same pants model/texture.
Valve only used the male suit common infected for testing purposes. All the other infected will remain the same, just the male suit/tie infected will be changed.
Sorry for the confusion.
3: Dude/Ma'am... your looking at the wrong guy for that, Even I had a hard time figuring out how to get these textures to load properly, Maybe RNG textures or RNG Models would work... but together? I don't know if that is possible or not... you'd should ask someone with more expertise with that than I.
1: I'm pretty sure that this wasn't seen in-game or anywhere really, he was just used for testing reasons. About the gore intersting enough, there were files for gore to be used with this, I edited the vmts to match up with this mod but I haven't tryed it out, doubt it would work though.
2: Close but no, both clothing and skin are inside their respective texture files, which then derive from simular color palletes like this mod. Certain parts of l4d2's infected textures use a RGB channel system in which the game randomly decides what colors or seperate textures will be used for these infected based upon the hues of their repsective colors within the texture file (which is why if this mod isn't working correctly, it shows those weird "rainbow" colors which means that it isn't being handled properly).
btw I have similar idea, you can read it in description for my collection (clauses marked as Experimental )
the essence I wanted describe there, is to use RNG texture coloring system + RNG 3D model + RNG gender, thus we could have multiple appearances of 1 zombie boss
if i understand correctly there is a lot of head and body combinations in ZOO map.
so they tried to create both random texture coloring and random 3D body parts system, am I right?
oh and does l4d2 dismemberment&gore system work with him?
you can make it work with that if this mod comes BEFORE the population fix mod, it will still confict with each other but during gameplay I noticed that the mod was working with it!
Valve set it up so that both the head and the hands to derive the same color palette that the rest of the body texture uses as well for testing reasons I presume.
In the final game, the common infected don't do this, they use specific skin tone settings within vmt files so the common infected skin won't look weird.
I kept it like this for accuracy sake in regards to how valve set up the "L4D2 Test" in the first place.
