I really love this mod. I am a compulsive builder and having more room and Resources is so so nice. Liked/Fave. Nice Addition.

+1 to 123's request. I'd really like the additional resources without the flat spots. Not that I think they're a bad addition, quite the contrary, I've just had lots of practice now building on weird and uneven terrains; the only spot I've found on Island that continues to frustrate me is a plateau near the famous metal pillar in the Northeast canyon that cannot even have pillars put down on, but I think I found a solution to that too.

I can separate the resources and geometry into their own sublevels and also make a low resource sub level and high resource sublevel that are selectable based on the ini file - It would take some testing to ensure that the level changes don't clobber structures. I am working on other mods atm but will take some time this weekend to mess around with it.

oh cool I'm glad to you asking this question :)

can you make the flat surfaces and extra resources both seperated from each other and configurable from the gus.ini.

is there any chance to adding extra new cliffs to some of the mountains mid-high spots and adding a parameter for resource richment. for example low or high resources.

do you mean Structure Placement Collision? it shouldnt be enabled on pvp servers. ppl use this function to get inside of the terrain and blow up each others under the terrain.

(ps:There was also same problem at lat41 / lon67 but it is resolved with last update. 87 / 56 still has this placing foundation problem)

Mod has been updated to fix the dark colored beach geometry at the water line and also to fix/change some geometry in the redwoods.

@Tempest hello :) how have you make for put rock and possibility to build on.. because on ADK if i grad rock and put on testmap.. I go through.

like making it solid and with the ability to build on

@Tempest - Are you still updating these? I have a request. Add more of the flat areas along the short about the depth of a Behemoth gate? Looking to have more places to actually build water pens.

I agree with earlier posts RE the black land is out of place next to the beaches.
Would actually suggest you remove all additions you've put on beaches - looks too unlike the vanilla map and out of place.
Some additions you've put in are really good and merge well with vanilla land, but some don't and stand out looking too unnatural.
Will keep an eye on this mod tho and may try again in future as the idea is great :steamhappy:

So I moved to a different spot, everything places, but the water pipes are crooked. I can't get them to lay straight. And for some reason the water reservoir isn't filling up. I'll try deleting and restarting in the morning. Otherwise I LOVE this mod.

I'm trying to build a large green house on a high island, I'm thinking it's the tower you're talking about up above. It's right by the waterfall. But every time I try to place my water pipes, it says I can't cause there's an enemy base near by, but I'm the only one that plays on my server. I tried entering that code where I enter cheats (sorry, I'm new to this whole mod thing and don't know what things are called) and it didn't work. (copied and pasted right from your page) even tried it was cheat in front, even tried it as false. What am I doing wrong- or is that an area we just can't build in. Which if we can't I'm going to be bummed, cause I don't know where else I could make a LARGE green house and not have to worry about dmg from dinosaurs.

You Change one from the 2 Hills by ca. lat 42 lon 63 (the Hills in the River,the hill without Metal)
on the ground from your new plattform i have no snappoints for foundations. he take the old ground under your new ground. Can you fix this pls?

I agree, the black land is out of place next to the beaches. Also you seemed to have wrecked a few decent spots that were already good for building in my opinion, like the peninsula @ S1 spawn. I might get over it because I like the new resources, but isnt there a sand colored flat object? Oh and maybe there are too many large rocks added- they almost obstruct a couple spots near S1 (the only place I saw the changes because I just started a new game) Great idea though. RL nature has plenty of flat, but the island was a lumpy mess.

I really love the added platforms on the hill sides and up in the mountains however I must agree with another person below that the black tar looking added flat zones on the beaches looks out of place and honestly makes it hard to get around. A lot of the dinos also kept getting stuck on the edges of the beach platforms which was also kinda unimmersive since you can lure some strong there, get them stuck then easly just kill them with no threat. I stopped using it only for that reason. Perhaps make a nobeach version and I'd be happy to use it again

No, it doesn't need any particular priority. It works perfectly fine being the last in load order or first.

Its hard to get a gauge on just how much resources are in the south but yea I do agress that I may have went a little overboard in some of the locations but this version was specifically designed for no fly which makes it much more difficult to harvest the large resources piles in their entirety. The regular version, which will be released by the end of next week, will cut back on some of the resources in the south (the north has much friendlier quetzal/anky combo harvesting though).

The beach extensions I do agree with that they are unnaturally dark but that is the caustics near the waterline that causes that. I will tweak around with some other textures to see if I can find something that looks more like wet sand rather than what is currently there.

After testing it, I gotta say i love some of these spots and the pearl spots in the south are a great edition. But i feel like theirs to many resource clusters in the south and some of the Beach flat areas that are dark stone/darksand look unnatural and i think if they were normal beach color theyd look better. But other then that i really like it.
