WARNING! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning! Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More- government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died. Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other profiles on this one site, and she will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently, if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes u will have the best of your life

The ambience noise scared me so bad. I know this is the beta, but I'm trying to make a scene where the Combine are now nice and invented Wiremod. The beta is the construction version when they're building it. As I was making a Combine walking, I heard a creepy whistle and I immediatley left and said nope. (Yes this is in 2020.)

Probably. I remember adding some creepy ambient sounds into the map. At first I thought it sounded cool, but when I played the final compile, I thought it was really creepy.

It should give you a usage thing, so just try 'till you get it working.

In the bin folder of your GarrysMod directory, there should be a file called gmpublish.exe. Try running that in a command line. It should allow you to update addons, as well as their icons.

Bebeu, that would awesome if you know of a way to update it. I can successfully update the map icon (that you see in the Garry's Mod map list). I just can't update the thumbnail photo of my Workshop uploads.

I intentionally made the hallways a bit dim as if it was overnight hours and then have the rooms brighter I dunno lol I'm just a night-kind of person. I was trying to go far a calm and quiet facility environment.

I'm sorry for the very late replies. I've just been going through a rough patch in my life, dealing with alcoholism. I was in detox for a few days, got out and been working a bit more to catch up on payments and stuff like that. But I am grateful for the feedback and all the likeness of my maps. I hope to get back into my mapping and commit to it again. I changed my work availabilty so I get a decent amount of days off in a row and maybe I'll find some time to get creative and do some work on my maps. :)

I upgraded to an Intel CPU from my old ass AMD fx-4100 and bumped up my memory a bunch and I love it. I still have my mapping projects and I was planning on also working on my SiN Mansion map remake also (started on redoing the lighting after reading a more professional lighting tutorial (I'll try to implement that in new maps)). :)

Sorry, It's been a while since I've posted a new upload and kept up with all of your comments. I've still got the project, haven't lost the work. I've actually got some more progress done since the last upload. I've just got tied up with work and personal stuff (shitty job, drinking a lot). I hope to get back into it even if it is working on sections at a time. Again, Sorry for the wait. Also, thanks for the support everyone, I really appreciate it. :)

Thank you, I hope to release the next update soon. I just hope all of the security alarm lights don't reduce the map's performance since there will be at least 30 of them (switching between 3 frames , and flashing sprites). I would also like to make some brighter red light fixtures that will emit red light which will probably be more costly than the alarm fixtures.

Progress Update:
-Security Light fixtures (still need to paste more througout)
-More work done on the admin's room
-Linked master lock/unlock controls to single switch in admin's room
-Little more optmization
-Removed the soundscapes until I can setup a good one

I am hoping to release the next update soon after I finish pasting the security lights and testing the master lock control

Did some more work on the admin's room. Check out my latest screenshots (from profile) to see what it looks like and let me know if you guys like it and if I should keep it. I made a new security alarm light fixture which will be place throughout the building. The material is multiframed for the flashing sequence (alarm on) and green safe-light (alarm off) and the light sections glow in the dark too.

I have still been working on the map a little at a time. I've done work on the third floor, adding a break room/kitchen, medical room, and the admin's room. The admins room contains a control panel in the form of a touch screen with a couple buttons so far and I also made a server rack material from scratch and striped it to make a server rack. Hope to do more work and release the changes.
