If the previous comment is true than this is a bummer. Was hoping this will make stats more useful and more similar to the first game.

This basicaly makes stats useless almost all the bonuses for stats were removed like crit chance basicaly anything that was there that wasnt weapon or magic dmg or armor have been removed so stats are now useless ive also uninstalled the mod not worth it to use one that doesnt fix stats like it said it did

@ (author): Fascinating mod! Big credit to Gytfunke and the other Torch Modders for their contributions! I will try this when I need to change the game from it's usual systems and challenge my notions on vanilla tactics.

@ Ajid Lovett: "Kebbek" made a "Rings" mod also found in "Running Wild" among others. It will enable you to hold Gold in exchange as Items in your stashes.

@MasterM
Also can you make a mod that I can put gold in my stash? for not losing too much gold when I died?
You can do this with synergiesmod, exchange your gold to gold coin (Item)

yeah wish he could pop in to TM more often. Oh well, i'm happy he seems to be doing well IRL :D

@Torchmodders Yup! It will work as soon as you take the red pill for custom classes :) I altered this quite a bit from its original form, but the basis is the same. Gyt is a genius, this process of modding the stats makes changes real easy.

Hey @RnF! I saw this here first on Steam - so you went ahead and did it :steamhappy: this is great! This will still work fine ven with custom classes right?

@MasterM How much Armor did you have? I have a "hidden" mechanic for armor that gives a Damage Reduction % based on how much armor you have. Around 4000k armor all players get 75% damage reduction by default and I balanced around that.

If you created a new player without equipping with a lot of armor, you will get WAXED no matter how many HP you have ;)

This mod actually gives a bit more armor to the bonus than vanilla, so technically it shouldn't be that much different other than not being able to dodge as much... of course it could be bugged as all get out as well :)

WARNING!!!
This mod is for character with stat points over 2K ONLY...

Here's what happened,
I started a new character, I also used the lv100 start mod to see what the end-game will be like, and 10 stat points mod,
I was playing Embermage so in the end I have 500 VIT, 500 INT (I don't really care about the other 2),
Cheating with a huge amount of gold, geared up, HP over 9000, went to mapworks to test out,
Ran into champions, 1 hit died...
Bought ridiculous amount of +10SP ---> 1000 INT, 1000 VIT,
Ran into champions again, 3-5 hits died...
F*** this, I said. Bought another ridiculous amount of +10SP ---> 1500 VIT,
The result, hit & run...

And that was not a NG+, beyond this, I don't want to know lol,
Now I need a bigger health potion for my 15k+ HP lol.
Also can you make a mod that I can put gold in my stash? for not losing too much gold when I died?

I was having some other mods that help me... a lot. Plus all of my items have experience bonus so it's pretty fast.

Also the mods that help me are these 2 mods: Experience Pays Off by Akmetan & General Passives DSP by Quelex, I think you might want to check them out, they're perfect for each other but don't know if they suit LAO III though.

@steffire3 I was planning on it :) The UI display has no bearing at all on the stats and what they do, it is simply a display of information. So it wont be much trouble to duplicate it for LAO III without all these stat changes. It would cause some issues with UI mods like the diablo ones, but those should still work if they are loaded beneath LOA III since this is the only UI change I would have in the mod. This layout is much more intuitive, the Vanilla one makes very little sense to me, especially with those arrows.
steffire3 28 Jan, 2017 @ 10:31am
I really like the new UI layouts... will you keep using these UI's in your other future mods?
RnF  [author] 28 Jan, 2017 @ 9:15am
@MasterM This mod will make Elite harder probably, so you may not want to use it. BUT you will have more HP's so that would be good :)
RnF  [author] 28 Jan, 2017 @ 9:14am
@MasterM haha, yeah Elite Mode is crazy hard, I can't believe you made to level 100 on that mode!! That is awesome! I am too wimpy to hang in there, it's just too hard for me :) Congrats!

Yeah, there are a few items that pop up like that without stat requirements. This is one of the things I need to get fixed before releasing part 2. Thankfully, It is actually a fairly simple fix, so I will put that at the top of my list.

About this mod, yeah I put it out there as an experiment. The biggest issue I see with LAO III and items beyond level 100 are that items that require dexterity will have a major deficiency in damage... but I have resolved that already by adding just a Dex Damage Bonus to ranged items only with LAO III (didn't know how to do that when I released this, but figured it out). So this mod is probably not going much beyond what it is.

Thanks for the reply!
I'm not that far yet but just want to know. Anyway there's something I need to tell you about the LAO III mod.

- Boy it was hard as hell?! I've died like 40+ times for now xD (I'm playing Elite difficulty btw).
- I'm now lv100 and I've found some items above lv100, but there is this ring that requires lv124 ONLY (no stats requirement), even though I don't think I'd ever use that ring but how can I use that? I don't know if there are any other items like that but just want to let you know to firgure it out.

Anyway about this mod, I don't know about the idea since the base game bonuses is fine for me, I'll give it a try or a quick test to see if it's good or not.
RnF  [author] 28 Jan, 2017 @ 7:52am
@MasterM ha, are you that far along already? It readyish, just need to fix some items that have bugs and make it so it can stand on it's own without needing Part 2. But the majority of it is done. I will work to get it out soon.
MasterMini 28 Jan, 2017 @ 2:46am
when will there be part II???
