LAO III - Stats Overhaul

Description
If you JUST want a Dexterity Damage Bonus - SEE THIS MOD

I will eventually wrap this into LAO III, but would like some feedback first. So I created an addon mod for testing purposes, plus this probably will be useful for ranged classes in general. Big change for them :)

Mod Order: Load above LAO III or any other mod that changes the UI/Character Stats

This mod was designed as an addon for LAO III - but LAO III is NOT required to use this mod

Mod Description
This mod overhauls the character stat bonuses received from Strength, Dexterity, Focus and Vitality

With LAO III taking gear well beyond level 100, I needed to do something for the stats, many would become useless since they have hard caps (Crit Bonus, Crit Chance, Dodge Chance etc). So those were removed and replaced with bonuses that wont cap out (in theory).

Besides, most of those bonuses can be had/maxed out through skills and item bonuses anyway.

So the stats have been reworked to help make stats useful past level 100 items and to give more value to item bonuses in the game

One of the biggest changes you will see is with Dexterity, it now gives a damage to Ranged Weapons. See Below

- NEW Characters get the bonus changes right away

- CURRENT Charcters will need to take the Red PILL to convert to the new Stat changes

- There is also a Blue Pill that will revert your character back to Vanilla Stat bonuses

Mod Changes

UI Changes
- Enhanced the Character Stats UI Layout so it would make more sense
- Added Right and Left Weapon DPS

Strength Bonus
+ Melee Weapon Damage 0.5% per point
+ Physical Damage Bonus 0.5 per point

Dexterity Bonus
+ Ranged Weapon Damage 0.5% per point
+ Poison Damage Bonus 0.5 per point

Focus Bonus
+ Wand and Staff Damage 0.5% per point
+ Ice, Electric, Poison, and Fire Damage Bonus 0.125 per point - each (0.5 total per point)

Vitiality Bonus
+ Health (HP) 6 per point
+ Mana (MP) 0.5 per point
+ All Armor 0.5% per point

Background
This mod was originally part of another mod I was working on, but eventually ended up dead. But pieces of that mod are trickling out into LAO III, this being one of them. Gytfunke designed the basis for this mod, I have tweaked it to fit LAO III. So thanks to him for helping out with this, because I don't think I would have been able to figure out how to do this ;)

If the previous comment is true than this is a bummer. Was hoping this will make stats more useful and more similar to the first game.

This basicaly makes stats useless almost all the bonuses for stats were removed like crit chance basicaly anything that was there that wasnt weapon or magic dmg or armor have been removed so stats are now useless ive also uninstalled the mod not worth it to use one that doesnt fix stats like it said it did

@ (author): Fascinating mod! Big credit to Gytfunke and the other Torch Modders for their contributions! I will try this when I need to change the game from it's usual systems and challenge my notions on vanilla tactics.

@ Ajid Lovett: "Kebbek" made a "Rings" mod also found in "Running Wild" among others. It will enable you to hold Gold in exchange as Items in your stashes.

@MasterM
Also can you make a mod that I can put gold in my stash? for not losing too much gold when I died?
You can do this with synergiesmod, exchange your gold to gold coin (Item)

@Torchmodders Yup! It will work as soon as you take the red pill for custom classes :) I altered this quite a bit from its original form, but the basis is the same. Gyt is a genius, this process of modding the stats makes changes real easy.

Hey @RnF! I saw this here first on Steam - so you went ahead and did it :steamhappy: this is great! This will still work fine ven with custom classes right?

@MasterM How much Armor did you have? I have a "hidden" mechanic for armor that gives a Damage Reduction % based on how much armor you have. Around 4000k armor all players get 75% damage reduction by default and I balanced around that.

If you created a new player without equipping with a lot of armor, you will get WAXED no matter how many HP you have ;)

This mod actually gives a bit more armor to the bonus than vanilla, so technically it shouldn't be that much different other than not being able to dodge as much... of course it could be bugged as all get out as well :)

WARNING!!!
This mod is for character with stat points over 2K ONLY...

Here's what happened,
I started a new character, I also used the lv100 start mod to see what the end-game will be like, and 10 stat points mod,
I was playing Embermage so in the end I have 500 VIT, 500 INT (I don't really care about the other 2),
Cheating with a huge amount of gold, geared up, HP over 9000, went to mapworks to test out,
Ran into champions, 1 hit died...
Bought ridiculous amount of +10SP ---> 1000 INT, 1000 VIT,
Ran into champions again, 3-5 hits died...
F*** this, I said. Bought another ridiculous amount of +10SP ---> 1500 VIT,
The result, hit & run...

And that was not a NG+, beyond this, I don't want to know lol,
Now I need a bigger health potion for my 15k+ HP lol.
Also can you make a mod that I can put gold in my stash? for not losing too much gold when I died?
