Never tried the Genesis mod, but I know it does affect a couple of the same settings. I'd recommend putting Genesis lower in the mod order to make sure those settings aren't disrupted or overridden by biome spawn settings.

Yeah, they don't get along with some factions. If you need to take out some Omegas and accidentally get on their bad side, you can talk to their Pacifier in The Hub. Glad you're having fun with it! Thanks and happy hunting.

i have a question and im not sure if it is just me or not. Are the people added by your mod supposed to fight almost everyone.. i can go almost anywhere and find them causing trouble is that what they are supposed to do? great mod ive been subscribed for a couple years i take it out put it right back. just wondering i eventually get into beef with them because they be bullying people. excellent mod

I'm not familiar with that one & what it does, but the mod order will determine which mod inevitably overrides default settings for each option.

Thanks all! Best way to offset the additional hunger time is to slide the hunger time setting all the way down during import. If you have other mods that affect hunger time, be sure their load order overrides this one. Economy changes are fairly minor, aside from the new vendor having some essential items.

For some reason that has been removed from my mod list and no matter how much I re-subscribe, it will not show up in game and is causing some huge issues with my characters. Any suggestions on how to fix?

This is a great mod but be aware that it changes your economy. Example: If you're selling grog 1,110 cats each the mod will bring that down to about 433 cats

The character edit worked when the mod was new. An official update broke it. I'm not sure how to make the character editor work after that update. I switched it to quick-join so it wouldn't be entirely broken by the patch. If anyone knows how to fix that, I'd update ASAP, but multiple forums & searches have had no results. :hwsilly:

Today's update modified The Hub squads so Vagrant Omega shouldn't keep buying all the buildings. It also changed recruiting Misfits & Test Subjects so they require 10,000 cats. :blissful_creep: Thanks for all the support!

Can you add an option to pay for them rather than just getting them for free.
Kinda like how infinate wing wang has multiple payment options.
Because these misfits and such are just way too OP, but they add a lot of extra life to the game.
Atleast 20k each would be good considering they are bred to be insane fighters & you can sell their equiptment for atleast 10k.

Thanks! I haven't had my Vending Machine disappear (been fighting HN forever), so I tested it. Can't seem to get the same results, but I'll definitely look into it. I once added mobile vending machines, but took them out because of bugs. May put in something similar that players can access regardless of their faction affiliations.

Great mod. I'm currently using it alongside a couple other major content adding mods and there have been so conflicts so far. However, I noticed that the Vagrant Omega Vending Machine disappears completely with the new world state changes as the Shek Kingdom takes over the Hub once you declare war on the Holy Nation. Would love a fix for this since my team now relies on the prostlhetics you added

This week's official updates have been causing problems. Sometimes it happens. Usually, their later patches will fix whatever caused the issue in the 1st place. Until then, I've fixed the recruitment issue. Unfortunately, the 3 custom races cannot visit a Plastic Surgeon until LoFi cleans up their mess. Thanks for the heads up! :rose:

It crashed me also with the misfits... every NPD related with this module, I think. I have a few other mods, so it might be anything. I've read but didn't found any reference to this, so I wanted to ask.

It crashes me when it goes to the character screen after buying a new character for my group. Only crashes with recruits from this mod.

No worries, thanks for that. I tested it after deleting the entry for the regular 'thieves backpack' from the mod using the editor and I can confirm that fixed it (for me to be able to have my squad members use them again at least) and even allowed me to keep the current thieves backpack equipped to the Misfit in my squad. Like you said, not a long-term fix though.

Thanks again and keep up the great work. I'll keep my eye out for any bugs and let you know if anything pops up. I'll try to keep any reports slightly less verbose/full of waffle :steammocking:

Yeah, thanks for the heads up. The only fix that worked for adding backpacks to misfits & test subjects may have ended up backfiring. It didn't unequip backpacks on my old squaddies, but I didn't test equipping new backpacks on vanilla races. I'm updating to undo that, for now. Will keep working on the original backpack issue... :blissful_creep:

Further to my last comment I did some digging through the mod files. From what my limited knowledge of Kenshi modding can gather I think I've found the issue:

The item references for backpacks that you added, to allow Misfits and Test Subjects to use them, have overwritten the permissions for the main game files. By adding the Misfits, et al. to the races list it means that ONLY those races can use those items, you would need to add the other races from the main game to the list to make them work again. Alternatively, remove the backpack item references from the mod.

Like I said, my knowledge is incredibly limited so I can't seem to find a way to add the other races myself. But I hope this helps you narrow down and eliminate the issue when you get chance.

Not sure if it's related, but since today's mod update I can't seem to equip backpacks, apart from a Misfit I've had in my squad for a while (it was fine last night), have confirmed that this is the only mod that updated. Anyone else able to test this and confirm?

Confirmed, the mod works with the sliding hunger scale during import, rather than overriding it. Next update will kick it down a few notches to adjust for higher import settings.

Slider only goes up to 8, which has characters starving to death a bit too early. In reality, it takes about 3 weeks for most people to die from starvation. Next update will probably scale it back to adjust for that gray area between death & being too hungry to fight. Currently testing how long it takes to starve with mod + lowest hunger time.
