Thank you for your hard work in the past, & if LWOTC devs see this, thank you as well.
1. When does ForceQuit take effect? If I set it to true then launch the game and load a save file, will my active TDEs be deactivated: immediately; after I complete any mission; or after I complete an HQ assault? (or some other timing which I haven't though of)
2. If set to true, will ForceQuit erase missions that would counter a TDE as a reward? Detected or undetected?
I hope my writing isn't confusing! If you'd like me to rephrase myself or explain something in more detail, please let me know.

In my understanding:
- ForceQuit, if set to true, will forcibly deactivate active tactical DEs, which is how you "plug in" the mod to an existing campaign;
- NonInfinite, if set to false, will keep tactical DEs permanent, as is default with LW2, but makes it so that completing an HQ assault will deactivate one tactical DE.
- NonInfinite, if set to true, will make tactical DEs expire (only) after some time has passed since their activation and they may reappear after expiring.
Is this correct? Have I properly understood how this mod works?

So im already into a game and ran a few tests. The mods seems to be working, my question is what are HQ assualts? And will i get them for already active dark events? Please reply soon as I would rather get rid of them through missions then set a timer kill with inifite off.

Sorry but after reading i'm still a bit confused..
In your ini file (default):
1 ) ForceQuitEvents = false
Therefore NumOfMonths = 2 is not intended to work according to your explanatons
2) NonInfinite = false
MinDuration = 35
MaxDuration = 56
as said above, is not intended to work..
The only line left that is supposed to work in the mod is
ContactedOnly = true
I'm lost...but maybe i'm doing something wrong

NumOfMonths governs how long a dark event is allowed to last if you're forcequitting dark events. This only works if ForceQuitEvents is set to true.
MinDuration and MaxDuration govern how long dark events last if you're not using that, but instead having non-infinite, repeatable dark events enabled. This works if NonInfinite is set to true, *and* if these values are used with a new campaign. (Dark Events work weird, you can't really alter how they're allowed to activate in a campaign already running.)
However, I am having an issue understanding how to make this work right. Sorry, barely computer literate
What lines am I altering to make events non permanent, and how toset how long they last and how to counter them? I don't mean to be a pain, but the events do make mid game LW2 very unfun. Thanks for your help whomever can help me.

Two lines of code on which i would need better clarificaton
1) NumOfMonths = 2; how long can a tactical dark event last before it has to expire?
2) ;these govern how many days dark events last when activated and if set to non infinite. For comparison sake, LW2 dark events tend to take around 1 to 2 months to actually activate.
