You guys realize the mod is 6 years old now, right? Move on...
Jitar 8. dec. 2023 kl. 0:57

Brezonte 21. juli 2021 kl. 14:47
rip
Shabazza 3. maj 2020 kl. 2:21
Doesn't seem to work anymore.
Sad. But if it also impacts performance, I guess it's better not to use it anyway... Hmm.
Wallard 17. mar. 2020 kl. 22:16
Actually, This mod doesn't appear to work at all anymore. Today is the first time I had tried to use it since my last post on this thread, and none of the commands result in a labeled door anymore.. As last time, I'm not sure where the issue resides.
Darian Stephens 5. feb. 2020 kl. 12:23
If what @Wallard said is correct, then I'm going to remove this mod ASAP.
While labelling doors is very nice, it's not worth the simspeed cost, especially when it can be substituted for an LCD panel, particularly an overhead corner one, for little cost.
Rotn_ 16. apr. 2019 kl. 2:46
@Eikester does this mod still work? as i can't get it to work i even tryed copy/paste your example aswell and before you ask i have the tekst hud api loaded
Wallard 1. apr. 2019 kl. 16:10
I need to clarify, I'm not sure is this is an issue with this mod, or the Text Hud API.. but what I can say for sure, is that just deleting the labeling fixed the sim speed. I haven't even asked the server admin to remove the mod yet. Having the mod installed doesn't affect anything, but USING it does.
Wallard 1. apr. 2019 kl. 16:07
I love this mod, it really helps add that nice finishing touch to my complex interiors.. Unfortunately, after much testing and frustration, I have come to find that each one of your labeled doors causes a small hit to sim speed. It took a while to find the issue, but after I finally decided to remove the labels, one by one, I watched my sim speed slowly return to 1.0. The effect is in both single and multiplayer. My ship is quite large, but without the door labels, my system cam handle several of them pasted in close proximity without issue.. but with only ONE of them, with all the tens of doors labeled, it had dropped to about .55 sim speed before I decided to find the problem.

@Caffeine Cowboy, so what you say, this mod is useless if you have more than 10 doors in a build?
THE FORCE 17. nov. 2018 kl. 23:57
Can you add it to the doors in S - Interior walls?
ratheden 14. juni 2018 kl. 9:41
Would you be willing to add other doors to this? Is there a way to add it to any door if it has the space?
drmskr 2. feb. 2018 kl. 10:27
Loving this mod!

Any chance you can add in the ability to list the grid name of a ship connected to a specified connector? Thus, Ship Name, is displayed on the door...

Thanks!

You will see that the spotlight loses it's haze and the thruster loses it's flame effect. Add a few more digets to the final door and the sensor visual goes away as well as probably similar effects like grav range and antena range but I didn't test those. Also the colored arrows in the upper right for rotating blocks disapear at the same time as the thuster. But if you bring it back down to 285 total spaces all the effects return. Not sure if this is an issue with this mod or the Text Hud API. Just thought I'd throw it out there since I had many labeled doors on a ship I built and it took me a while to track down the root of the issue. Sorry for the long message too :D
Shen Anigans 16. juni 2017 kl. 18:48
Hey, I was loving this mod but I recently found a problem- if you exceed 285 letters, visual effects start disapeering. For example in creative, build a platform. Add power, a thruster, an antena, a spotligt, and a sensor. Turn it into a station so you can turn on the thruster without it flying away- make the sensor range visable. Then add 13 doors with labelback: 1234567890, labelfront: 1234567890. So that's 22 didgets per door including the space after the colon.
Shabazza 26. maj 2017 kl. 13:32
How about the vanilla sliding door?
I know, it doesn't have too much space for a name tag.
But would be cool nontheless.
Luv this mod. That should be stock.
Enkidu 16. apr. 2017 kl. 2:14
:steammocking:
Go Left 25. mar. 2017 kl. 1:56
how do you get them on?
Eikester  [ophavsmand] 24. mar. 2017 kl. 14:24
added support for Darths Interior Door and Nethersparks offset Door Mod
Mattacon 23. mar. 2017 kl. 12:09
How many times have people requested to make this Text API mod work with Sliding Doors?
Mishka 1. mar. 2017 kl. 15:11
Would you be able to make an offset version?
Go Left 28. feb. 2017 kl. 9:01
nice
:steamhappy:
data1chi 8. feb. 2017 kl. 9:26
You can always use blast door edges to connect up to these door was to make them look natural. But from past experience (a year ago so this might have changed by now) I've found that this drops the air tightness from between the door way and the blast door wall piece.
Ravenjrake 6. feb. 2017 kl. 21:54
This but offset. Standard doors are hard to place in many locations and look natural. With an offset option, this would be my go to door for nearly everything.
St4rKiller1382 6. feb. 2017 kl. 17:55
Does it not work for sliding doors?
EnjoyCoke 6. feb. 2017 kl. 17:49
Nice.
Benzschwagel 6. feb. 2017 kl. 16:49
oh? I'll have to check them out
jokerace45 6. feb. 2017 kl. 14:26
Sektan has had wall blocks with LCD's for a long time.
Benzschwagel 6. feb. 2017 kl. 13:40
@Fedezzer: yeah, seriously. How long has SE been out now? With a conflict like not being able to add a small ceiling light and a wall mounted flat panel in the same space, I'm surprised no one else came up with this earlier. Next up, wall blocks with built in LCD's that can utilize the Automatic LCD's 2 mod
Cmdr. DoomForge™ 6. feb. 2017 kl. 11:25
That's genius right there. When will Keen make that a standard for doors in the game?
Eikester  [ophavsmand] 6. feb. 2017 kl. 10:05
Update: you can now define different Labels for front and back side
limnovi 6. feb. 2017 kl. 9:19
