Nope I haven't added them, nor have a I fixed a vanguard deployment zone issue where you can basically spawn inside the base or outside depending on attack/defend.

I think maybe it's best to wait until I update, but it won't be until Sunday probably :/

Yep totally fine! I had been meaning to update it though just one more time as there's a couple bugs left. I wont be able to update for a few weeks though as I'm going away for a while so feel free to take it and include it.

It's a great map, would work very well as a minor settlement battle!

People have apparently been having issues when they have more than 39 mods installed at the same time, so we have started integrating the maps into the main mod instead of listing them as requirements. Would you be okay with that, and would you like us to list you as a contributor when we do that (that's what we've been doing for the other map makers so far).

Thanks RAFDM - I think the bounding boxes of the gates prevent selection, so I might have to scale them back or use non-colission props. Will look for a fix.

For all :
I'm posting a big update to the map this weekend which should fix some issues people have with vanguard deployment and camera clipping on the map. That should be the final version and I can move on to the next map!

Love the map. However I found that targetting anything through the main gate is super hard sometimes. I'll be on one side and the enemy swarms in, so I want to get my ranged and artillery on them, yeah? Well I cannot select anything that is near the gate. I sometimes have to take my camera to the other side of the map and target them from there.

That said, gorgeous map with storytelling. Telling a story through map design is a skill that many map makers havent displayed yet, although we have so many good maps coming out. Thanks for taking the time with this. It's great.

@Darren Let me explain it a bit more. For "default, alliance 0, id 0" to have their vanguard deployment zone restricted you have to place the "Guerrilla Exclusion Additive" under "default, alliance 1, id 0". The "Guerilla Exclusion Additive" itself is the area where "default, alliance 0, id 0" can't place their units. This will not effect "default, alliance 1, id 0". Be carefull though if you place the "Guerilla Exclusion Additive" over the spawn of the one that should be excluded, as then they can't even place those vanguard units in their own deployment zone.

Can't seem to fix vanguard deployment, even after testing out the "guerilla exclusion zone additive", placing it around inside / outside deployments of the enemy and ally it doesn't seem to have any effect.

Bugs:
Vanguard exclusion doesn't work as intended.
Attacking army faces wrong way at the beggining.
You can order your infantry to go on/under that plateau over gobbo's district. A no-go zone is needed. Flying units behave weird there too.
Balance suggestions:
I would connect forests on the right so that attacker can use them to cover his movements all the way through "Helm's Deep Approach"
I would make defender's deployment zone smaller so that they are futher away from HDA's exit and that hill in the middle of the camp.

Hey Darren! If you want to stop vanguard deployment you just need to select the opposites teams deployment zone layer. Under "deployment zone region" you can find "guerrilla exclusion additive". Great looking map!
