When you use this to liberate your first zone the avatar project will not show up and eventualy you will loose at a random time.

The picture below is a screenshot of the map after the mission spawning bug creating missions. I will replicate the problem as best I can and provide all the information tommorow.

Alright, new approach:

When exactly does the bug occur when using liberation?

IE does this happen after:

No missions have been done in the region you're trying to liberate?

You've only done the first liberation mission in the region? The second? Etc?

Because at this point I'm stuck because at no point does anything other than the outpost's region get assigned to anything, so I have no idea how it's managing to generate 15 more from out of nowhere.

I'm getting the multiple missions spawning all at once bug on the new version of long war 2, after about three hours of no issues.

I had 1 liberate job, 1 manufacture, 1 search for facility in three different heaven (one liberated). Again game started to bring alot of missions in not contacted regions. looks like more than two!!! special jobs and the game breaks.

thanks these jobs especially manufacturing job very useful
i have a request if possible to make a new job (corpse gathering) after missions in a few days it's been a chance to rebels can find and gather some of dead advent alien in the missions (happens to their region) like every 4-7 days more rebels or more level of rebels increase the chance and number but not decrease the time for that can happen and more advent force level their have very little chance to find some random dead even if no mission happend there

I've dug through a recent LOG and aside from the usual "garbage" collector slots.. this is the only direct reference to what could be related is this;

There are other strange issues like RegionA & RegionB pullers but i doubt they hook to your Jobs scripts.

Alright, so, the job will now stop itself (ie not spawn anything) if:

A haven has nobody working on the liberation job

The region it's in has not been contacted by XCOM yet

If it can't find the Regional Strategy AI state to determine a region's liberation status

In addition to being unable to find a region entirely or if the region's already liberated.

If it still has the issue, I'm going have to ask the Pavonis devs how exactly jobs work because I think I'm covering every possible failure point now.

Just add the periods. With the save, just scan for a few seconds in west america and the worldwide thing should happen.

The other issue with lib missions just appearing constantly in the starting country (not sure if it's limited to starting country but it is for me) has persisted even after fully liberating the country and disabling the mod. Fairly common too. Don't really have a save right before one of those but they happen pretty much once every month. I'll try to get the logs and/or a save for that too if it'll help.

Can someone send me their logs of a game where this happened? I've looked through the files and I have no idea where the error comes from, by all accounts it should be restricting itself to the outpost's region only, and this doesn't occur with the Guerilla job type as far as I've encountered.

I can confirm: after setting the fourth rebel to "liberate" job research" in the first region the game brings immediately on ALL non contacted regions missions. looks like the rebels are too efficient when they are on liberate job. This brakes the game because than you can enter all regions in the world without contacted first.

I also can report "overflow" of various Missions that are most probably triggered by multiple Regions being assigned to such Jobs. This can occur too with the GuerillaOps, btw.

One way to prevent this flaw from happening is to keep close watch on your Haven Rebels & immediately remove them from the Liberate Job once you have first NetworkTower activated for the usual assault attempt later. Until RM can (if it's even possible!) design a way to track these simultaneous events.. we're simply stuck with constant monitoring of the on-going jobs -- it seems.

Maybe assigning just ONE Rebel to such task at a time in ONE region only might help -- but, i'm not sure it really could.

To add to this, I too am getting many Lib missions over and over in regions with the HQ already ready. I don't even have people on the job in one region and they keep appearing there. I've also just a moment ago gotten an issue where it all of a sudden gave me Lib 1 in every single region on earth, contacted regions and non contacted, simultaniously. I do have a hard save where thats happening but don't know how useful it'd be with the number of other mods I have. Turning off this mod and continuing to scan stops them from showing worldwide so I'm sfairly certain its just this mod causing it to happen.

@RealityMechina, great mod thanks, much like ADVENT Avenger I'm also getting duplicate liberation missions in the same region, even liberated regions. Suddenly had three Advent Radio Tower missions in one region, now even though I’ve completed the chain and the region has been liberated those two 'other' radio tower missions are still there (and no, one of them is not the vanilla end-campaign radio tower mission, they are both LW2 radio tower region liberation missions). Took havens off liberation jobs soon as this started to happen prevented any further occurrences.

I'm getting Liberation missions non stop in a liberated area. I put two people on liberate for like 2 weeks and i think that its not reset properly. I'm also using an increased Rebel Cap above 13. I was also offered multiple liberation missions at the same time (Network Tower is up, then another mission pops up). It's always in the region I had Liberate people working, none of the others had any.

Great Mod!! thanks it really helped me out... actually, it helped far too much (with all resistance members doing the job) : I'm having more or less 3 towers missions to liberate one region, and got (as expected?) 3 (more/less) HQ Assault missions unlocked for the same region.... I just have to test what happen when I finished one of these... Maybe doing it as many times as I got the missions (it will greatly help for the corpses lol) but LongWar will really become a VERY long war loool! anyway, just wanted to report what seem to be a bug to me, great mod and thanks!

@michaelkowis Whoops, accidentally set it to give you the 2nd liberation mission instead of the 3rd one at that point.

hey nice set of mods two issues i have are that one in your starting region at some point usually around the 3rd mission for the lib chain it will just spit out a random string under the alien activity which leads me into the next issue and that is in your starting region mine was in west america even if i complete the third event in the chain like i am supposed to it doesnt give me the tower infiltration mission. to note i had like 10 rebels doing lib job alongside my scientist
