@Woazzaaa Yes, you can load any map without the listed map theme, it'll just use the game's vanilla theme :)

Is it possible to play this map without the required theme ? My PC is good, but not THAT good (considering I already use a lot of mods and assets)

Guardian Bay has been my most recent choice in map for my current city. Admittedly, I didn't originally use 81 tiles, and so was bending over backwards trying to accommodate city growth into areas where I probably shouldn't have.

Once I wised up though, I started building out into the valleys and hills, linking sleepy villages to a bustling industrial city center. My goodness, the map is absolutely gorgeous. I got a view the other day of the sun rising into a sleepy suburban valley to start the day. Thanks for the incredible work Aquila.

Excellent map. I'm only at about 65k residents so far, but having a lot of fun with this one. Thanks for your work!

Great map, but I found a small inaccuracy. From what you wrote I'm guessing you're kind of a perfectionist, as I am, so I would like to point out that the railway one the other side of the starting area, about 30U from the roundabout has a "wrong" bend, you notice it with the 2 electricity masts that are too close together and will se that there is a wrong bend there. :steammocking:

Noice. Screens remind me a bit of the Bay of Islands [en.wikipedia.org] in Western Newfoundland. Gonna giver a go.

@markfennell138 Did you subscribe to the theme? And is Steam connected? Since 1.6.2 Map Themes no longer work without an active connection to the Workshop. (Annoyingly.)

If it doesn't work, you can simply load it without a theme (it'll load the vanilla temperate theme) and then select the textures from the Monte Belo theme using the Theme Mixer mod once the map has loaded. The end result is the same as loading it with the correct theme. :)

Thank you everyone! :D

@Kaleb70 They are a too close together if you intend to upgrade them to NExT 8 or 10 lane highways, yes. You can use Move It! to select all the nodes from one lane or the railroad and then use the arrow keys to move them apart as far as you need. (use the box drag, it orients to the screen. Hold Shift to add to the selection) That's how I got them close together, too. :)

I really like the terrain and overall look, but the way the highways and railroads are placed is difficult to work with. Placing the highway lanes so close together makes it hard to use mods for wider highways; and having the railroads so close to the highways, while realistic, makes it impossible to add interchanges without major reconstruction.
