I just completed a LW2 campaign on Veteran and I strongly recommend getting a Spark. I never used it for infiltration missions but they are so useful for any quick response ones (e.g. retaliations)

yeah wondering about lw2 myself, as people say they are totally useless there, unless you get em REAL early, and even then they do not scale good.
