The IFA3 explosives cannot be placed (I think since the last Arma update?)

And the vanilla can be placed and detonated, but even though the building for the fuel dump goes up in flames, the barrels themself do not; tried with both buildings and the truck.
But the task gets not finished/cleared.

I'm surprised IFA3 nor vanilla explosives haven't worked. What's the catch? Are you able to place them? You have to detonate them yourself to complete the objective. If I recall, the enemies will only "detect you" if they actually see you. Therefore you SHOULD be able to blow everything up and still compete the detection objective. If that's not the case, you can just set timers on the charges and clear the area :)

Oh, and weird question, I know, but: how do you destroy for instance the fuel dump? The IFA3 explosives don't work anylonger, so I tried Explosive Charge, Explosive Satchel and Big IED.
Nothing worked.
Or do I only place an explosive and finish the mission and after getting out of the detection radius, they will automatically be triggered or something (because if I set off an explosion, the Stay Undetected task fails obviously)

Hey there, thanks for playing! I haven't really touched this mission for 3 years... I believe what you need to do to trigger the recon objectives is just to hang around in the area until a timer ticks off.

I have to say, pretty good mission.
BUT:

o) the 1kg explosives from IFA3 cannot be placed anylonger, which means I'd need to use a portable arsenal mod (but then for whatever reason I cannot turn anylonger...)

o) what do I need to do for the airfield task to be successful?

@Rak1445: sorry for not RTFM. As a content creator myself it grinds my gears when players miss massive clues because they're not paying attention :steamfacepalm: I'll definitely provide sme feedback once I get my squad to try this out.

@domokun Hey, thanks! About the map, that's actually a feature. Please read the description and/or the briefing, basically USMC recon hasn't been able to obtain any useful information on the island so far, that's why you start without a map. There's a link in the description above that leads to a photo of the map, which can be useful if you print it or look at it for reference. Additionally, you can actually find the map on the island, which also reveals some enemy positions ;) Definitely useful!
And about the machine-guns, try approaching quietly with the boat, but stop far enough and swim/wade the rest of the way on your own. They won't hear you then ;)

Wow you're the man! How quick was that? The mission now loads. However I'm encountering a minor problem in that the map doesn't show. Instead I have a modern-looking error message warning me that "Cannot connect to the positioning system". Presumably this refers to a GPS device that was removed to historical inconsistency. So is that anyway to restore the map? BTW how are you supposed to approach without being murdered by machine gun fire? Got any tips? Serioulsy this now looks SO cool. The music, the moonlit sea, the swaying palms. I can't wait to try this with my buddies. BTW please thank your friend and his magic hacks too :steamhappy:

@domokun EDIT: Thanks to my friend and his magic hacks, I've been able to fix the mission, so feel free to try it out. I had to cut some stuff (swap a deleted bunker for a hangar, delete a building and its corresponding dialogue (cosmetic), delete some items (cosmetic) etc, damn updates), but hopefully it'll work now. Also be advised, CSA38 mod is required for some reason, I have no idea why. I can't remove it from the requirements, since it corrupts the mission files for some reason. Anyway, have fun!

@domokun Ok, I'm afraid the latest Faces of War update has rendered this mission unplayable. There's some missing stuff on the map which prevents it from loading, unfortunately. The only way to play this is to revert to an older version of the mod. Sorry for this...

@Rak1445 thanks but I had FoW installed. I have all the mods installed but it's still not working. Any ideas? I'm really keen to try this because the type, size and tone of the mission seems perfect. Please advise

I'd love to play this because it's coop and set in the Pacific. However it doesn't work. Is it due to an update with IFA3 and/or Faces of War? Maybe other mods are required, e.g. REQUIRED ITEMS only lists CBA_A3 and IFA3_AIO_LITE whereas Faces of War is required.
