It's being updated, sure. I guess it requires a new update as well for the latest game.

You can still fall back to a prior on-steam version and run it besides the steam version as well:

While coding Limo Garage 2.0 some bugs caught my attention which have been fixed as well. Instead of updating this mod, I will release a new one, since it has stuff only compatible with PA Update 14 in it. Oh boy, it's becoming a very extensive mod, where you can build your garage the way you like it. Needs some more testing though, stay tuned!

Disable your incompatible old mods and also mods which alter the supplytruck, because it's scripted inside this one.

I will code an updated Limo Garage with the new features for Update 14.
But this mod is big and the code is quite difficult, so this will take a while.

@Kovy, you should disable:
- barber mod
- customizable control booths
- detectable drugs
- snitch sorter
- no desk security room

All these mods are already inside the combipack. It's also advised to disable the other ones. The armed guards have a different render depth for the cemetery, and CCTV arrows changes the objects spritesheet, a core file, which will make it incompatible with combipack.

@murgh - Hey, I rebuild the limo garage but for some reason it is not working. The room dosen't automatically spawns, you need to set it. The mechanic nor the workers fix cars. They just wait their.

So I tried with a brand new clean map, and it worked fine. Could it be that I am using the chinook deliveries as well?

You shouldn't place gates to close to the map edge. Vehicles need to pass and be able to close it before they vanish from the map.

I really like the limo garage. Great job on it :) I think I found a couple of bugs, though. Sometimes the lower gate (toward the end of the road, not the one at the garage) would automatically lock open with nothing around it, and it wouldn't respond when I tried to close it. I'd have prisoners running for the opening. When I uninstalled and reinstalled the gate, I then had some problems when the mod was trying to detect the limo truck (I believe, the error message went away too quickly as it caused the game to crash). I hope this issue can be fixed somehow. I'm afraid to use the mod again, but I really want to add the garage to future designs.

Hello I'm having probmelms my prisnors pass everything then when they go to work in the workshop they stand there and doing nothing? I'm lost complately what am I doing wrong?

thnks for the mod, great work! one of my favs! and thnks for the tip on the jobs.txt, its a bit more of a chalenge only having prisioners to work there :) also ended up editing the research.txt and made it more expensive to unlock aswell

Oh ok i might do that cause its almost too easy, thanks for the responses and if i may, you should probably add the fact that you have to click on the gantry crane spwner to spawn the garage to this page so that others dont fumble around until they find it

True that. Only problem would be that people download the mod, make a garage and see nothing happening for the rest of the evening they are playing the game, nor the next day. And then dismantle because it's boring when nothing happens there.

You can edit the jobs.txt from the mod and remove the workman entries for the jobs if you want prisoners only.

But wouldnt it make sense to make it prisoners only? otherwise you could turn your prison into limo repair tycoon rather then prison reform simulator lmao

Prisoners will fix them too once they passed the programs. It's the same as gardeners also doing jobs in the garden besides prisoners, and various staff being able to work at recycling besides prisoners.

When I'd make it prisoners only, it would mean that the garage would stay empty for quite a few days before you would see some action happening there. Currently it's a better cash cow for your prison.

So i got the mod a while ago, and im trying to use it now, first none of the walls within the room were built and the roads wernt connecting or being made, then i realised i needed the adv road mod and enabled that, but now none of the objects are being made and the road still isnt spawning

btw I tested with only limogarage and advanced roads enabled. Since I don't have several of those other mods I removed all other mods from the savegame.

User error. You didn't put a roadmarker on the road with the big gates.

Well if I load the advanced roads demo map with only limo and advanced roads mods enabled I see the big gates opening fine. So I keep saying user error, or perhaps a mod conflict. But you can always upload the map so I can have a look at what's going on there.

I just checked the script, and the mechanic helper is in the list of stuff to be deleted, so that was an unfortunate game hickup instead of a bug in the mod. You can get rid of him by editing the savegame and search/replace CarMechanicHelper with None.
b. was solved in the version which is in the CombiPack, i guess I haven't updated this mod as well back then. It's on the list to optimize this mod a bit more if possible since it loves to eat cpu cycles and in a large busy prison things might glitch sometimes.
c. user error, the street manager is fine but requires a strict manual to follow.

@murgh - Problem: a. If you delete the garage the mechanic helper stays and can't be fired.
b. cars get dropped not in their places when you are not looking ( look at other parts of the prison)
c. road manager spawns on garage create but dosen't detect defult gates on the defult road.

It requires Prison Labour to be researched first, did you do that? When I load the mod and enable cheats I can research it without a problem, just need the other research first.

cool, it tried updating the road map, all the queing trucks disappeared. but i might have fudged it. works fine on my prison, nearly seven hundred little minions and all three garages. ill try again, either way its a cool mod

Yes it should but I think I've only added support/fixes for that in my CombiPack mod and this standalone mod still needs an update for that, not sure. Remember to press the Update Roadmap button on the streetmanager when it's completed, and then check the roadmarker on top of the garage lane to see if has found 2 garages. Be aware that this mod can be cpu intensive and cause lag when you use more garages. On low-end systems building only one garage is advised.

The reorder your mods list (see last screenshot). If this doesn't work then another mod might be interfering.

The truck textures dont work for me they are just weirdly coloured squares
