Thank you for the answer. It didnt end up working, but at least i learnd how to rename a mod. Thanks again for all your help and your amazing mods.

No problem, just go in the data folder (\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War WARHAMMER\data), and rename the mod itself : "reskin_righteous_grail_knights" to "!!!!!!reskin_righteous_grail_knights".

Just one more quick question. What do I use to change the name. I have never moded before and don't have any mod software down loaded. I've looked around online and haven't been able to find a vid on this exact process.

I am sorry, i will not have the time to see this (for now i dont play Warhammer totalwar game, and i just worked on the Tomb Kings release banner, only for the users).

But you can try to rename this mod like this : "!!!reskin_righteous_grail_knights", the mod will take the priority over the other mod, maybe that can change something.

Thanks for the reply Den. My question was if you would have the time or desire to make an update for this mode that would work with Dryrain's Brettonia reskin. I have made several tests, with just the 2 mods inabled, and there are a little over half of the features of this mode that dont work with the other. Right now, the only things that work with Dryrain's reskin are- 1. Your grail shilds for both the Grail Knights and Grail Gardians. 2. Your shilds for the Knights of the Realm. All other features listed in this mod's description do not show up. There is also a strange bug that causes the horses of the RoR unit "The Companions of Quenelles" to disapper when these 2 mods are used together. The thing is, i love both of these mods so much that i have been using them together anyway. But i figured it was worth asking for a fix if you had time. I hope you dont take this as demanding or whiny. I will continue to use this mod regardless of your answer. Thank you again for your time.

Hello. First of all, thank you for this amazing mod. It's the only mod out there that gives the Grail Kinghts the variety they deserve. My love of this mod is what prompted me to see if you would be willing to answering a few questions i had about the possibility of fixing a few small issues i found while using this mod with another I very much enjoy. @Daelin - thanks for testing it, I was wondering myself if this mods work with each other. Good to know they mostly do. I don't mind Dryrains capes, I was mostly looking for Dan's female models anyway.

It's just a layer paint in black, in the texture file mask.dds, the black part is where the mask will not be effective.

The problem is I'm kinda new at this when it comes to graphics. I'll check out the mod and see what I can do. In case I'm unsuccessful, how do you make a black mask?

Yes, all textures are in .dds format. I dont know for your question, maybe you will need to do a black mask. You know for this mod i used "Better Bretonnian Shields", to learn as i was able. You should make some test to see if that work or not.

I've looked at several shield mods, just to get a general idea, if that mask you're talking about is the mask.dds, would removing it from the mod work? Or not necessarily?

It's hard to explain (especially with my bad english), the shield who change color use a mask system (with a simple empty shield with as diffuse texture), the shield who dont change color have a empty mask (and numerous complex shields as diffuse texture). My advice is to open the .pack, and see how it's configured. This shield mod wasnt easy to do for me, i am not a skilled modder, but more a graphic-man.

Mr. Den, I have a question, I'm trying to change the color of a unit in the unit_variant_colors_table but I dont want to change the color of the shield. Like how your shields on the knights wont change color, only the soldier itself. How do you do that?

TMXFroZeN, that missing shield is really weird because i dont have the bug (and i test all my mod with no other mod actived), i made an uppdate trying to fix it, say me if you have always the missing grail guardian shield. Uppdate only done on this mod "rigtheous knights" (all in one mod and smab not modified, i wait to see if that works).

Hi, so many people are pointing it out (saw it in your other mod comment sections as well), but I think I found out why some of the Grail Guardians are missing shields. It looks like the shield pattern (set4) for them includes 4 shield variants, but the mod itself only includes 3. Not sure why they are not missing for you, maybe cause the last shield variation file is in another mod file of yours.

It's really weird, i dont have any missing shields or patterns. I know i have a empty shield for Royal Knight, but i always had all my shields (3 differents types) on that unit. Whatever i have updated the mod, removed the empty shield and add a 4 royal shield. You should have all the shields now. But it's weird !

For the Grail Guardians, i dont know why you have the missing shield, grail guardian use the set4 txt file, and that file call 3 shields, which are all linked to the 3 rights files who call all the right textures. I dont have any missing shield. o_O

Hi, I've also noticed that some of my Grail Guardians don't have shields, even with all other mods disabled. =/ Can you just doublecheck into it even if you said it is working fine for you. It might be the case that one of your other mods are making so that the shields are showing up for you. And when we are at it, one of the Royal Pegasus Knights' shield variation are just showing a blank blue shield, not sure if it's intended tho. :O Anyway, it's a awesome mod, wish it worked for me.

Yeah i can imagine that would take a lot of time, was just a thought after looking through some armybooks. And after a bit of consideration i realiced, it would´t make much of a sense. The goal is to reunite the realm after all, so all the different dukedoms and shielpatterns would be lost anyway.
(Yeah i love the series too ;o)

Sorry, i dont want to remove these effects with this graphical mod. Because that need to edit a battle file. File i use with my battle mod "smab". But precisely i dont like these effects me too, and i remove them in the smab (not for Lord/Heroes) .

and I rather go to one mod to get unit skins for X faction than mix matching 3-4 mods..the results tend to be devastating xD

Yes, i am working on it. That take a long and difficult time, i make new shields for all the bretonnia units (going with the atmosphere of the unit).
