oh, is there a way to fix that?
Tankbuster  [author] 26 Dec, 2017 @ 10:17am
yes. Its because you are using the reskin.
Evan 26 Dec, 2017 @ 10:14am
Once I build a smithy I can recruit other state troops regardless if I hold their capital and when I lead them into battle they all have plate armour, and with Province Colouring enabled, if I go into battle with another province their troops have plate armour. I have 'State Troops of The Empire' on and a reskin for armoured state troops in 'Radious Total Units' which are the only mods I could think would be conflicting.

like Mister Blin I am hoping for a version for WH 2 <3
TsarThiccholasII 30 Oct, 2017 @ 8:30am
Is it possible to combine this with Lt.Apollo's empire reskins?
Rudel Strudel 28 Oct, 2017 @ 6:33pm
I was wondering if you are going to be porting this mod over to Warhammer II, because this mod is sweet!
Salus a.k.a Obi Dank Kenobi 30 Sep, 2017 @ 6:41am
Thanks a lot, I will take a look and If I pull it through I will send it to you
Tankbuster  [author] 29 Sep, 2017 @ 4:23pm
It would take a lot of dull work. Basically someone will have to copy paste the stats from the main_units_table and land_units_table. It shouldn't be too difficult. I have no problem with anyone else using my work.
Salus a.k.a Obi Dank Kenobi 29 Sep, 2017 @ 4:18pm
It's asking way too much, but would it be possible to make this SFO compatible? The idea behind this mod is perfect
Tankbuster  [author] 20 Jul, 2017 @ 7:22pm
I updated the mod. Please sub to both the required items before telling me that all your unit cards are full of goblin archers.
Tankbuster  [author] 20 Jul, 2017 @ 6:47pm
Are you sure there aren't any conflicting mods? the files seem to be in order.
Tankbuster  [author] 20 Jul, 2017 @ 12:44am
Let me check. You should be able to build the barracks anywhere within the empire
battlez 19 Jul, 2017 @ 11:28am
Hey, love the mod, but I can only build local barracks in Eastern but not Western Sylvania, and are local barracks meant to only be in provincial capitals, and not in the other towns of a province.

Great mod, ty for creating it. Ever thought of combining it with the Unique Empire States mod? The mod hasn't been updated in awhile, not sure of you ever heard of it
Tankbuster  [author] 3 May, 2017 @ 4:16pm
you need that mod for it to work m8
KHEMRI TV 3 May, 2017 @ 1:43pm
No. I tried it with all other mods deactivated - and I don't think I had ever subscribed Crysnos' mods anyways.
Tankbuster  [author] 3 May, 2017 @ 10:25am
Are you using it with Crysnos' mods?
KHEMRI TV 28 Apr, 2017 @ 1:23pm
Maybe I found a bug: Whenever I enter the hero recruitment panel (I started multiple new campagins with Karl Franz and Gelt) in Altdorf, the game crashes. I narrowed it down to this mod by deactivating all other mods and repeatedly validating the game files via Steam.
Maybe it's because the Empire Captain is recruited via the Barracks chain.
Otherwise, as I said, it's a great mod and I'm sad I'll have to stop using it now...
Tankbuster  [author] 26 Apr, 2017 @ 12:05am
Yes, they are averlander spearmen as they would look in the game. If you have any particular empire look overhaul, they copy that scheme.
KHEMRI TV 25 Apr, 2017 @ 6:33pm
Are the colourschemes copies of the AI minor Empire factions? Like, do my special Averland Spearmen look exactly like the AI Averland faction's normal Spearmen?
Anyways, great mod. I really appreaciate being able to use this mod without it adding any number of "new" units with new stats, etc.
Tankbuster  [author] 20 Apr, 2017 @ 12:18am
highly compatible.
Catfish 18 Apr, 2017 @ 2:07am
Anyone have any experience running this with Steel Faith? Any compatibility issues?
Tankbuster  [author] 4 Apr, 2017 @ 5:08am
have fun <3
fomeh.martins 3 Apr, 2017 @ 4:36pm
Just what we needed. thanks dude.
Evan 15 Mar, 2017 @ 12:31pm
thanks man, love the mod
Tankbuster  [author] 15 Mar, 2017 @ 2:25am
The AI can theoretically use this.
On the other hand, I have no clue on how the cdir tables work so I copied the barracks entries and state troops entries and replaced them.

If you are using the State troops of the empire mod, all your recruited state troopers will look like your own provincial troops but with different coloured uniforms.
Evan 14 Mar, 2017 @ 2:01pm
Also, I have a mod called State Troops of the Empire or something like that, basically it makes the state soldiers of one province look different than that of another
Evan 14 Mar, 2017 @ 1:59pm
can AIs use this?
Tankbuster  [author] 4 Mar, 2017 @ 1:03pm
I will take a look then.
thanks for bringing it up.
JokerFett 4 Mar, 2017 @ 12:25pm
I believe another mod is causing some cities to be missing it for me then, Gorssel in the Wasteland was one such city.
Tankbuster  [author] 4 Mar, 2017 @ 12:10pm
it is supposed to be buildable in every city.
What regions are you missing?
JokerFett 4 Mar, 2017 @ 10:27am
@Tankbuster I understand that, and it is recruitable in every province just not within every settlement in a province. What I'm asking is it supposed to be buildable in every city or no?
Tankbuster  [author] 3 Mar, 2017 @ 5:58am
You should be able to build the auxilary barracks in every empire province apart from your home province because you are already playing as default empire troops.
JokerFett 3 Mar, 2017 @ 12:13am
I can't say enough how much I love this mod. With it, it's now possible to do what I've dreamt of doing and have an Empire campaign where the confederated Elector Counts lead their own personal state troops into battle. Thanks for the work you've put into it Tankbuster! I have a quick question though, in my campaign the auxiliary barracks buildings are only constructable at certain settlements within a province, not in all. Is this a deliberate decision or do I have some kind of weird mod conflict going on?
Walter H. Washburn 28 Feb, 2017 @ 8:35am
Excellent, continue your great works.
Tankbuster  [author] 28 Feb, 2017 @ 7:57am
yes, yes I would.
Walter H. Washburn 28 Feb, 2017 @ 6:57am
My compliments on this mod, it is something I've been looking for for quite some time. I do have a suggestion though, would it be an idea for you to make a similar mod for the Bretonnian Factions?
Tankbuster  [author] 26 Feb, 2017 @ 5:34pm
I am working on one.
optimusrhyme 26 Feb, 2017 @ 9:51am
Sweet mod :) is there a similar one for dwarfs?
Tankbuster  [author] 25 Feb, 2017 @ 9:39pm
I could do that, but that is something for another mod. I made this mod so that empire players would have access to their different state troops. People can always take a look at mixu's mod which adds a variety of unique units to the empire troops and is compatible with crysnos' mod.
Medieval_Man 25 Feb, 2017 @ 7:01pm
It might not be the most elegant solution, but couldn't you put any units that would be in the unique settlement chain in an aux. barracks and have them enabled by the vanilla unique chain?
Crynsos 25 Feb, 2017 @ 10:05am
Not sure if branching buildings is possible, but what you can certainly do is faction specific versions of buildings, like how it is done with the Temples of Taal, Ulric and Sigmar in the Empire.
Tankbuster  [author] 25 Feb, 2017 @ 9:44am
I couldn't figure out a way to get a branching building chain to work in warhammer, and I used the rome 2 guide for it. I guess I will have to take a second look.
Crynsos 25 Feb, 2017 @ 9:40am
Theoretically yes, which I don't really want to do as it wouldn't work without this mod anymore, but you can overwrite the default settlement building on a factionwide level, maybe even make location specific versions.

That coupled with the option to upgrade from the default to your custom versions should make them possible just fine.
Tankbuster  [author] 25 Feb, 2017 @ 9:33am
yeah, about that. Even if we were to make unique main settlement buildings, you would have to manually insert them in the start_pos right?
Crynsos 25 Feb, 2017 @ 7:45am
It will certainly get quite interesting to see mods populating the map with unique buildings to random settlements that are largely irrelevant on the map but carry an important lore background, like say Brass Keep for example with their Chaos association or Barak Varr and Sjoktraken being the only Dwarf Harbour settlements.
Tankbuster  [author] 25 Feb, 2017 @ 7:41am
I am working on a version of my Building the empire Mod that allows for some unique buildings scattered throughout the empire.

It's pretty far from being done, but yeah, the idea is there.

I might also make knights/pistoliers/outriders recruitable from the auxiliary barracks but it would require a lot of groundwork.

Mixu's mod adds a huge variety of semi elite and elite empire unique troops in their respective region. between his mod and mine you should have a variety of special and regular troops available fro recruitment.
Medieval_Man 25 Feb, 2017 @ 1:54am
great idea, makes playing Empire fun again. do you think it's possible to make unique buildings like the nuln gunnery school allow recruitment of nuln steam tanks, etc? or making the auxillary barracks produce state-coloured troops/cavalry/war engines where they make sense?
Crynsos 23 Feb, 2017 @ 3:54pm
Well, I guess I really should make a collection that includes all framework mods now...
Tankbuster  [author] 22 Feb, 2017 @ 12:13pm
Halberds don't kill people. People do.
