Maybe it's because the Empire Captain is recruited via the Barracks chain.
Otherwise, as I said, it's a great mod and I'm sad I'll have to stop using it now...
Anyways, great mod. I really appreaciate being able to use this mod without it adding any number of "new" units with new stats, etc.
On the other hand, I have no clue on how the cdir tables work so I copied the barracks entries and state troops entries and replaced them.
If you are using the State troops of the empire mod, all your recruited state troopers will look like your own provincial troops but with different coloured uniforms.
thanks for bringing it up.
What regions are you missing?
That coupled with the option to upgrade from the default to your custom versions should make them possible just fine.
It's pretty far from being done, but yeah, the idea is there.
I might also make knights/pistoliers/outriders recruitable from the auxiliary barracks but it would require a lot of groundwork.
Mixu's mod adds a huge variety of semi elite and elite empire unique troops in their respective region. between his mod and mine you should have a variety of special and regular troops available fro recruitment.
