+1 to remove the "The"s
Remove "the" entirely. And "a" in the case of books that would normally have started with that.
Although this suggestion is as much for those gamers to implement themselves (by way of opening up the creation kit and making whatever changes they prefer) as it is for the mod's creator.
Though of course the first option does depend on having the mod author's permission to modify the mod.
Just a suggestion, of course.
Is there an option to sort the books like you have done, except still display the titles to the player normally, with "the" being at the beginning?
Basically, I'm looking for something that would use your sorting method, but with the titles being displayed as they originally were.
This only renames books, it won't give them to you. You'll have to hunt them down yourself.
This mod should be compatible with any mod that does not change the names or models of the in game books. Mods that add more books still work, but they won't be renamed.
Leave your praise if you're happy with the mod as well, it gives me a boner. Um, I mean, it makes me happy.
Now if only I could get a mod that auto alphabetised the books into the shelves and showed me what books I already owned in the game. Man that wouldn't be an easy mod to make but one can dream :D
Minor request: I know its not 'proper' and I cringe to ask but is it possible to have a setting or a alternate version of the mod that just removes all "the" from the titles entirely. Just looks so much cleaner in my opinion without the "The", at the end or otherwise.
I don't think it will, I didn't take those kinds of mods into consideration.
2920 is a number and not an article, and those books are part of a series, so they should stay together on the shelves... at least in my opinion. I'll think about it, though.
