I've found the force level .ini will test at 10. As it was, Shaman, a 22 HP enemy that rapidly heals and does big damage came out at a time when soldiers and other enemies had around 8 HP and dealt 4 damage or so. It pretty much guaranteed failed mission and/or soldier loss.

Shaman and Warrior are mid game Archons where as base game Archon is an end game unit.

On second play though, Shaman showed up before Archon. I'd love it if they were forced after the vanilla creature. I realize this is no longer supported, but is there a tweak in the .ini that would make this happen?

Archon warriors has far less HP than base Archons and are meant to be mid game archons

Archon Warrior showed up before vanilla Archon. We had just discovered robots, not even Mutons yet.
Force level 7 seems high, but maybe it should be higher

Was not taken down on purpose. Had an issue when trying to upload an update for the WOTC version and the update somehow applied to the LW version. I tried to revert it and somehow the mod was removed. The issue is that I no longer have the LW version.

I understand that you won't back to mess with vanilla SDK, after the taste of WoTC's. Let me ask you something; if vanilla CXArchons would b converted to LW2 with only certain .ini edits (LW2 leader&follower lists, maybe LWoverhaul.ini too) or more extensive actions required? In other words, is it doable without SDK?

I have revealed that I had this mod for LW2, but now one bad mod overwrote it and I can not get the LW2 edition.

Thats very bad MrShadowCX. Thank you for your concern. In that case, i'm beginning to backup all my favorite mods to prepare any future "Steamrolling". I hope that somebody from the community have done this before and will be able to provide you a backup.

yeah... figured out the issue :( I did an update for the WOTC Archons mod a few days ago. And in updating it, it had updated to the LW mod (still not sure how that happened) Anyhow, you can roll back updates now. So I rolled that update back and was planing on updating the WOTC version again. Talking with steam support on it, it seems that when I rolled back that update, that it deleted the mod. The issue now is that I dont have the original copy to that version saved any longer. So not sure what to do to get it back.

with most enemy mods that have autopsies and items you can get from them, its always best to only add them on new game starts. Issues like this can and will happen if you load them in the middle off a game.

I'm not surprised sadly. It tends to be their style to ignore their fans.

Personally, I only wanted this expansion for the rumored "performance improvements" to the engine. I haven't yet started a campaign because I'm waiting for at least some of my favorite mods to be fixed/updated before I do so, but yeah - I sure hope they have done something at least for the stability of the game. Especially the legendary "under the avenger bug", I sure hope that one has been permanently done away with or I will be super dissapointed.

Yeah, I think it's pretty terrible how Firaxis handled this expansion, creating so much extra work for you modders. I don't remember any other major update or expansion in the past breaking so many mods as this one. They could have given you modders some heads-up at least I think.

@Varrning Skopeftis: So, you're friend doesn't have Steam, but has XCom2? So, he pirated it, and still demands specific mods, ok... (retail-versions are bound to Steam, and from looking gog doesn't have it...so unless there is a place to get it legally and DRM-free that I don't know off... :x)

My friend ask type it to you, he dont have steam.

Can create a perk that adds 10 defense and 1 armor two turns after (regardless of the success) the first attack (trooper, captain, stun lancer, shield bearer)?
Can do this as well for the trooper of the following mods (only humanoids):
ADVENT Specter
ADVENT Titan
ADVENT Sniper
ADVENT Priest
Advent Warlock
Advent Reconnaissance Unit
Long War Alien Pack
