fun tip SOME MODS will work even knowing it's a wrong version of the game, some mod's will work even when outdated just subscribe activate and see if it works does not cost you to remove mod

For those who still play Stellaris 2.1: I created a new AI mod which is based on Glavius's work, but my mod goes much deeper and have a lot of unique features, leading to much better AI.

Update: Rebalancing has taken place leading to the following changes:
1. Research deposits have become much rarer.
2. Deposits providing only one resource will no longer appear.
3. Energy deposits will now appear at most planets where they previously did not.
4. Very large energy deposits might appear.

@Liquidjaaaaaah: You could create your own mod that depends on both these mods and include your own version of 100_scripted_effects_resource_spawner.txt that includes the new resource deposits. Should work fine.

This is a very interesting mod, I quite like it, i was unlucky and found a worthless astroid system but after 50 years it became a rich system that gave me around 22 minerals in total!

If I keep repeating the command to deposit resources on untouched planets, will it stack if the command is repeated?

@Zares: Those are randomized. Lower yields have more chance than higher yields. Very high yields have a very low chance, between 1-5%. While common resource yields have higher chances. The chance you'd get a +4 resource deposit is 23-25%.

Could you make random yield of these spawning resources? I think every spawned resource's yield is +4 and imo it's too much.

@pleasy: Paradox updated the game, then reverted back to an older version and as I have around 10 mods I just updated to the latest version I left it as is. If you hover over the mod in the game loader you can see it actually supports v1.7, but it will support v1.6 as well.

As it states at the top in the description this mod fully supports v1.6.2 which is the latest right now. It's just too much work to update them all again when it's possible that next week we're once again updating to v1.7.

The game indicates that the mod is out of date ScepraX. I tried deleting and updating the files but Stellaris still indicates it's no longer compatible. Am I doing something wrong?

Could you please make a russian localisation template?
No need to translate anything, just make the russian localisation file with english text inside.

Playing other languange and having resourse_spawner_5 is annoying and having to add this file myself every time the mod updates is a bit frustrating.

@Assinmypants: With this mod, no. Theoretically speaking: it's only possible to clear an orbital deposit from all resources at once. Thus, if I was to achieve an effect of orbital resource depletion, I would write a event script that first clears a random orbital deposit and then adds a lower level equivalent deposit. Would take some work as you'd have to do this seperately for every deposit type and add some new deposit types so the depletion is linear for all resources.

I like the mod, it's more realistic that you find things you might have "missed" on an initial scan. however I have one complaint and that's the fact that when a resource is spawned it's automatically revealed to you. I play with the improved hyperlanes and fog of war mod so that there's actual fog of war and littered throughout the fog of war, in places I've yet to even know they exist, I'll see random node of resources and even see potential habitable planets. if there's no fix for that I'll grin and bear it, just letting you know that's a thing
