Blacksand443: Thanks glad you enjoy it...sorry I beat you to it didnt think gorssel was a hot commonity looking forward to any map you might make
there plenty of interesting fluff not only for a "town-defence".. the hillforts, villages with palisades, rocky tors lithering the foothills, river crossings.
not sure what terry gives you, but if the map has a mountainous border, there could be pegasi flying in the heights, like on the campaign map.
or if you go for a "siege map" do have a look at the realworld carcassone, which is an awesome, well-preserved walled city/castle.
or even have us defend brionne.. the city of poets and minstrels could be on the defenders map-border, and the army is marshalling outside to stop the enemy well outside the walls. instead of fighting in the city itself, the buildings would be markets and hovels clustered outside the walls, which form the mapborder.
