I think most people will understand, i'm currently on spring break from med school and lord knows i needed a break. i havent been able to play warhammer since school started back in january. its totally cool man. no use in burning yourself out on the editor. i cant even figure out how to get my damn PFM to work in TWH so anything anyone else does is a amazing. lol. once again thanks for the content.

@eny30 Thanks for the complement :) I really agree with the need for more map diversity. I'm not sure when I'll be working in the editor again though. I spent about a week making all these and they've burnt me out pretty hard. So might take a bit of a break, might not, who knows yet

could you add a few wood elves maps, just playing the same couple maps for them is sad. just some elven ruins tossed about would be amazing! love the maps you've put out! keep up the good work and know that its appreciated.

The game doesn't have different maps for each tier of settlement, it a roster of maps for unfortified (this includes tier 1,2 and 3 minor settlements) and a roster of maps for fortified (walled) so unfortunately I can't have a different map for each tier as the game only recognises fortified or unfortified. I have 5 maps for each faction so that the you don't always fight on the same map evey time you attack a settlement. Hope that clears up the confusion :)

@dryrain I tested attacking it in the latest update and experienced no crashes. Update should be up soon-ish (storms messing with the net here), also adds 3 new maps for those interested :)

At this time you need to subscribe to the recommended maps to add them to the roster of playable maps. I plan to combine it all when I'm done into a single mod but until then i'd recommend you subscribe to all the recommended maps.

For someone who isn't coming to this from your other minor settlement maps, maybe give a better description. Does this add new battle maps? They they like the Attila settlement defense maps wherein the defense starts in the 'town' and the attackers start on the outside? Does it add a capture point to non-siege style city defenses?

Not sure if you included this information in the other mods that this is compiling, but I think it would be helpful if you included them in the description here.

@Prisoner of War My plan with this mod is to primarily stick to just the 3 factions for now, and keep them under a consistent style. If you need help on how to make maps and mods feel free to add me though :)

@AnonymousCheese We will probably update the pack to allow for the inclusion of any city tomorrow, I finished the overwrite map today. So if you're still interested we could probably add them tomorrow, these maps would make a great addition!

@Mechavelli If you're referring to the Weismund map layout, I've noticed that for some reason its assigned to a lot of the empire provinces, I'm not quite sure why the game has done this but I'm hoping with a few more maps in the roster that will be fixed. If you're referring to the general layout of my maps overall, don't worry, I plan to make some that are much less chokepoint oriented. similar to the last 3 maps I released.

Hey, to address the feedback/questions

@mcoig I'm stikk trying to iron out the crashes on the campaign map, first try running the game with only my mods active just to isolate them and if crashing presists, which settlements caused the crash. I was experiencing them with one in Bretonnia but so far haven't found any additional crashes but naturally I haven't been able to test attacking every settlement so far.

@Aenarion I may make a larger one, but I wanted to differentiate these maps from the major settlements to feel like a mix between a land battle and the cities, to do that they need to have a mix of open space and some small chokepoints.

@Verrik I went to him first before making this mod but he is currently focusing on the southern region of the map (orks and dwarves primarily) so when he begins focussing on the central regions I will look into adding these maps to his collection.

This works with Steel Faith and works well in coop. My only criticism is that the "town center" maps can get kind of repetitive- perhaps having a different layout than just four building sections around a crossroads. Maybe a bit more complex and wider venues so the fighting isn't that cramped?

Sure thing, it shouldn't take too much longer. It takes about a day to make the 3 variants of a map, so I'd say expect it complete within a week
