how do i modify the mod file so that the triarii also available to the vanilla rome?
iam20dofan 16 Apr, 2021 @ 11:35am
nice mod. but sometimes i can build UI adjacent (on wheat)
Max 25 Aug, 2020 @ 2:27pm
Also question: Does the happiness from trade routes count extra copies of luxuries? It seems like I'm getting way more than I should.
Max 25 Aug, 2020 @ 12:23pm
Seems you forgot to make citrus one of the tiles the improvement can go on? It's not in the improvement.xml file and it doesn't improve citrus ingame
pseikone 23 Aug, 2019 @ 4:29pm
I have a suggestion for you. If a trade route passes over a farm that is working wheat or even a resource timproved by plantation, that farm would turn into a latifundium. Such latifundium will generate a copy of that resource after 30 turns. What do you think? Is this a good idea?
Rabid Mongoose 5 May, 2019 @ 8:48am
I am curious can I get permission to Use Triarii (changed for Vox Populi) for a new Rome under Trajan mod I'm making for Vox Populi...
Verily 24 Apr, 2019 @ 6:55am
Does this replace Default Rome?
Rabid Mongoose 8 Jun, 2017 @ 9:54am
Can you make it CBP compatible?
Lucretia 24 Mar, 2017 @ 7:51pm
Father!
zaku_zelo 24 Mar, 2017 @ 11:51am
Decisions ain't showing up and I'm not sure why. Having no such issues with your other civs.
I notice the "Celebrate a Triumph" decision from the screenshots has been renamed to some Trump joke. Could that be it?
Rabid Mongoose 23 Mar, 2017 @ 9:28am
Completely the policies (Thats insanely cool I don't know if you play Vox but the free industry tree is like la dee da here I am playing around building shit and OH SNAP now I'm getting gold up the shitzu and building shit in half the time and yada yada yada. )
Uighur_Caesar  [author] 22 Mar, 2017 @ 4:06pm
oh wait are you talking about the decisions? cause if so, then it means all the policies in that tree are adopted when you enact it
Uighur_Caesar  [author] 22 Mar, 2017 @ 4:02pm
no dude. it's a tile improvement. yoy know how you can't build plantations until calendar? well it's like that except imagine the plantation was a latifundium and calendar was currency. there's literally nothing there at all that involves free policies. in any way whatsoever. like 0%. absolutely nonexistent.

not sure about the music issue. I'll take a look at that sometime
Rabid Mongoose 22 Mar, 2017 @ 1:22pm
wait what do you mean building it like free policies?
zArkham4269 22 Mar, 2017 @ 7:23am
Addendum to the below. After about two minutes or so, the music comes back on. I'm wondering if the music file is corrupted and the drop off is just the music isn't playing but the file is still running?
zArkham4269 22 Mar, 2017 @ 7:21am
Another odd glitch. Not sure if it happens all the time but sometimes the initial them just cuts out and the music just stops. What's odd is even the Music Changing Mod won't allow you to skp to the next piece of music. However, in a previous load up, I changed the music prior to the drop off and it seemed fine. Only seems to happen about a minute into loading the game.
zArkham4269 21 Mar, 2017 @ 5:31pm
Oh, I think you're right; even with the Canvasary mod, once I got a granery and workshop, the land convoys started working to all cities.
Uighur_Caesar  [author] 21 Mar, 2017 @ 4:57pm
yeah the latifundium only does it once. and yes the courthouse appears once you annex
zArkham4269 21 Mar, 2017 @ 4:22pm
Second question: Took Douglas from the war-like Celts (serves them right for going up against the Power & Glory of Rome!) and I have it as a puppet. Viewed city; no courthouse even with a road. Does the courthouse appear if I annex the city?
zArkham4269 21 Mar, 2017 @ 4:09pm
Have a question about the latifundium. Does it create a new resource only once? Or is there a chance it can continue to create duplciate resources as long as their are open hexes for it?
zArkham4269 21 Mar, 2017 @ 2:01pm
Well it might be a conflict with the updated canvasarry mod but that mod makes it EASIER to send convoys internally. Just built a land convoy in my capitol and I can send a convoy to any of my cities...except the other city which has a canvassry in it! =0
Uighur_Caesar  [author] 21 Mar, 2017 @ 1:54pm
@zArkham4269: You need a Granary or Workshop to send Food or Production internal trade routes in the city you're sending from. I didn't realize that either for a while lol

@Rabid Mongoose: No. You can start building it once you've research Currency
zArkham4269 21 Mar, 2017 @ 11:52am
For some reason the Canvassary is not letting me send my land convoy to my capitol even though it's easily within distance AND connected by a road.
Kaiser 21 Mar, 2017 @ 9:41am
Now your name really fits Uighur caesar.
Rabid Mongoose 20 Mar, 2017 @ 7:20pm
when you say unlock that mean free policy tree?
Juras 19 Mar, 2017 @ 2:55am
@TheDatim, not sure Pracinha were around when Pedro was either...
Warped Reality 18 Mar, 2017 @ 3:02am
@Uighur_Caesar This is unrealistic, because the Marian reforms removed the existence of the triarii, and Pompey the Great was born after.
Uighur_Caesar  [author] 17 Mar, 2017 @ 7:00pm
@pseikone: here's how to enable logging for the descisions error: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/how-to-enable-logging.487482 . I'll discuss the plantation thing with the guy who made that part of the code.

@NiteOwl: yeah only routes to the capital give happiness. the capital will always be getting food from the your number of luxuries tho
NiteOwl 17 Mar, 2017 @ 12:38pm
does the internal trade route have to be to the Capital in order for it get the extra food and happiness?
Norton 16 Mar, 2017 @ 8:32pm
@BearAttackMan I understood that reference.
Todd Howard 16 Mar, 2017 @ 7:45pm
IMPERATOR? TRIARII!
BearAttackMan 16 Mar, 2017 @ 5:44pm
So now we have Ivan, Frederick, Alexander, Catherine, and Pompey all in one game...

Yep, time to start a new scenario as Muscovy.
pseikone 16 Mar, 2017 @ 4:36pm
I was also using another mod (bonus resources expanded), which introduces maize and rice. And the latifundium icon was appearing for these resources, but not HNR mod. I think latifundium should be appearing for all bonus resources as well (barley, maize, rice, e.g). They all come from the other players' mods.
pseikone 16 Mar, 2017 @ 4:15pm
No! I played more than 50 turns. It was not appearing.
pseikone 16 Mar, 2017 @ 4:13pm
I was playing your mod with another HNR (Horem's New Resources). I was trying to create a latifundium on the apples resources (this resources requires platation). The latifundium was not appearing.
Uighur_Caesar  [author] 16 Mar, 2017 @ 4:11pm
do they show up the turn after?
pseikone 16 Mar, 2017 @ 4:08pm
I don't how to provide these logs, but I can provide a picture of the problem. You can see it in this link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pnik2mftjish8fw/E%20%26%20D%20for%20Rome%20(Pompey)%20not%20appearing.jpg?dl=0

Caligula 16 Mar, 2017 @ 3:16pm
hey,a verion of Rome that's not useless if you dont spam buildings in the capitol and/or try to take over the world before the World Congress is founded!
Uighur_Caesar  [author] 16 Mar, 2017 @ 2:57pm
the icon issued got fixed. can you provide your logs for the decisions error tho?
pseikone 16 Mar, 2017 @ 1:37pm
Decisions for this civ are not appearing, as well the unique unit and the unique improviment icons
Norton 15 Mar, 2017 @ 8:09pm
"What about me? Pompey!!" - Pompey on ERB
NiteOwl 15 Mar, 2017 @ 6:33pm
very well done. Loving the focus on luxury acquisition.
yingcheng92 15 Mar, 2017 @ 4:19pm
AWESOME!
