You'll need the settlement packs either way, otherwise nothing will happen.
Are Bretonnia and Vampire settlement packs not compatible with Legacy ? It's stated in this mod description "SUBSCRIBE to this mod and the REQUIRED ITEMS Settlement Pack: Dwarf and Greenskin and Settlement Pack: Empire and you are ready to go - nothing else! "
@Ana Normally, when a settlement has walls, you will have to build siege equipment in order to attack the settlement right? The AI also does this, and normally that's fine. However, CA has not given us the option to create functional walls in battles, which means that the AI will cruise around in their siege towers without doing anything. The only way to stop the AI from building siege equipment was to remove the 'walls' from the settlements. The downside to this is that the AI will now be bale to attack those settlements immediately instead of spending time building siege equipment. Some people didn't like this change, so we uploaded this version of the mod which doesn't remove walls from settlements.
But... What walls are you talking about?
Which vamp settlements are in this pack? if ya don't mind me asking.
@Edgey This mod is not a fix, it is the same as the main mod but without the change which removes walls from dwarf and greenskin settlements, becsuss some people don't want that change.
There is a map mod for minor settlements that make it so that only minor settlements without walls have new town maps...I think it is a good design choice. Maybe you could do the same and do it for major settlements? For special settlements that always have walls, maybe its possible to make it so that they get walls at level five only and meanwhile use the city map(s) you guys have added?
my 2 cent! cheers!
