That was totally different! And fun.
Fun.
I'd be happy to check out your map. Thanks
I'd appreciate it if you could try out one of my chambers: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=188025272
I hope you like it and thanks for putting a smile in my day.
Sounds excellent! If it's anything like your other test it will take me a bit to figure out the first step. Thanks again.
A couple notes:
1. Its large size, and white building exterior were not at all influenced by your awesome-looking Lighthouse!
(Well, actually, maybe it was. But not consciously. Except for maybe the white part :-)
1b. While the level is "large," most of the puzzle is in the middle, and follows pretty logically once you figure out the first step.)
2. And my placement of the turrets on the roof was in no way related to my throwaway suggestion on your Orange and Fizzle level -- that there should be a way to kill the turrets on the roof! :-)
I was going to ask you to try my latest level, but I think I should do one of your "real" levels first :-)
Thanks for the smile!
your welcome.
hope you will make a new map soon ?
you could try the Discussions link above. some one should know.
but be very carefull, as they may not have your interests in mind, or may sort it out ?
the support above, to contact steam, may help, or point you in the right dirrection ?
ps. why not copy & back up your map "Vibration" & any future maps you do.
I advise you to exit portal & steam first.
the following may help you get your portal 2 maps back.
but I am NOT a I.T. person.
path to portal 2 maps on a windows 7 home premium 64 bit pc.
start / computer / C drive (or which ever one your operating system is on) /program files (x86) / steam / steam apps / common / portal 2 / portal 2 / puzzles
I believe if you copy the contents of "puzzles" from your old pc,
into the puzzles, in the same place on your new pc, it will give you access to your maps again.
if steam then tells you your pc is out of sinc with the cloud & offeres to sinc either way.
make sure your pc's steam data, goes to the cloud, not the other way around.
as I said I am not in I.T.
I have not done this my self either.
so no guarantees.
perhaps show this to someone you know who knows their way around a pc, & ask thier advice.
hope this helps.
ps. I just backed up a copy of my "puzzles" file, to an external hard drive.
by the way.
although franken cubes don't bounce.
you can bounce off a blue franken cube.
please play my map:
