About the wifes, well i don't think that such a mechanic exists in the game
Regarding cheating, well I guess if you feel that you enjoy the game more this way its up to you then.
either way my basic point was just it's kind of ridiculous to say that the spartans are overrated nowadays based on a movie which is in turn based on historical fact, that's all i'm saying. and if the spartans had any scruples for diplomacy and crap like that there army would have taken over the world, but they were content for the most part to just sit in the pelopennese and enjoy their spartan lifestyle, they weren't exactly expansionist like persia, macedon, athens, rome
for some reason the Roman AI prefers to recruit mercenaries instead of proper units, i honestly don't know why this is happening, i will try to prevent Rome from recruiting mercenary units in the future in the hope that they will start building proper armies
While playing as them, you can spam lvl 3 principes with upgraded weapons and armour right from the start. You will have to sacrifice a region or 2 but in the end, once you build your armies you can steamroll basically everything thrown at you.
I will try giving Rome the "Expansionist" aggresion personality in a hope that they will focus more on military and will be more decisive in the future
I appreciate you liked it :)
