Are the effects on the pictues the effects the formations will give? Cause if that's the case it seems like way too OP

That sounds rather weird. Of course they would not work for the new units yet as I did not include them so far, but existing formations on existing units should work fine.

This mod is wonderful--but it looks like the 30 RoR flc broke Yeoman Archer formations for the Bretonnians. Activating formations does nothing.

Yeah, after a certain amount the game just gets buggy for no reason. I hear it's at least partially related to how much RAM you have available.

FIgured it out it. Had to do with how many mods I was using even though I was using the same amount both times

Right away you mean or just if you use a certain formation? This mod contains the same data as the original one, except less changes, so I don't see why only one of the two would crash. Try deactivating all other mods and see if it still happens.

Ever wondered why there were no formations available for any units, despite half of the Old World's factions being disciplined well enough to use advanced tactics and thus formations?

No, SEGA is just lazy.

The ability is meant to be mainly single use anyways, as you would be lucky to use it in a situation where you really need it and be able to use it again. It will freeze the unit in place for a bit, but after a while human instinct will take over and the remains of the unit will probably still end up fleeing.

maybe a suggestion would be to make the last stand a one-use ability that makes the unit fight to the death and is unable to move or be given any more orders. Great for certain situations but it can be terrible for other reasons. IE dudes are getting hit by arty but they are no longer able to be moved anywhere. dunno if that sounds more reasonable but either way thanks mate!

super random question since you are a decent modder, Are you able make the soldiers to fight more chaotic and without restraint, not caring much about holding the line and formations? Loose formations that dont reform? Likes ur mod!

And why exactly is that other than "I don't like it how it is currently"? A bit more reasoning towards such changes would be useful and 15 seconds is barely enough to form the formation and then only fight a tiny bit, which seems hardly realistic.

Last Stand is only usable once your units get to less than 50% HP (which is usually just before they rout the first time) and only makes your unit unbreakable for 30 seconds so you can hold a line that you can't quite have break yet.

After that your unit may easily instantly route due to the sustained damage and you can't reactivate it for 60 seconds. I may have to increase the cooldown to several minutes or make it a one-time-only use, but aside from that I think it works decently well.

Do you not find that 'Last Stand' is somewhat over powered? I haven't actually used your mod but it would seem to me that allowing virtually your entire army to become unbreakable past the halfway point would devolve every battle to a battle to the death. Does this not completely destroy the leadership mechanic? Otherwise your mod looks amazing! Good work.
