@Helegren The version of this that is in my DnD Tools linked below has that functionality. There the highlight color or the color of the miniature is used for the initiative list color.

Great work i like it so much

is where an easy (noob) way to change the color output in the list
such as get.color of token and set it to list entry?

Added some enhancements to this tool for my group. That version available here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2454472719

Great work, this is really useful!

Wonderful addon, sees great use in my group.

I'd like to third that request of taking the colour the token is set to into the log. I had a look at the script, but can only figure out how to change /all/ colours for players and enemies.

Ditto if a little button can be spawned to clear the log.

But those are all small quality of life extra's, this is already pretty great as is, thank you!

Amazing addon! I've been using it for my group and its been endlessly useful. Double up on @Acdreign, is that a possible feature to be added? Coloring the text based on the color each token was set to?

How can you clear or reset the initiative order?

This tool is great, I love it! Is there any way that I can make the output text colored according to player color?

This is great! Will be using it in our campaign.

Two suggestions. The ability to move between turns would be very handy. Reorder the list based on who is up. Could you make it so flipping the token over hides them in the initiative order? If out it would still roll initiative for them and when you flip it over it would update the list and show them.

Any ideas on a cleaner way to deal with players who have advantage on Initiative rolls? It seems a bit messy to spawn two tokens, and then ignore one.

Simple and effective! Nice work!

Another good idea. I'm open to others on this one. If I'm going to revisit it, we should make it nice and useful

Just a suggestion: Flipping the Player/Mob coin would ignore it, instead of using a bag or deleting it
UltraViolence 12 Jan, 2018 @ 10:43pm
I mean let the tracker's initiative bag search through all bags that it contains so itll be like

Have an ecounter with N creatures, drop all in bag

drop bag into "Initiative bag"
click "roll initiative"
take bag of minis out, and organize the trackers
UltraViolence 12 Jan, 2018 @ 10:42pm
Okay, this is probably an easier one.

Have a bag included with the initiative tracker as well. Any object is in the bag is put into a collection. then when Inititave tracker is clicked, automatically generate that number of trackers inside of another bag and spawn that bag in a close position to to the Initiative roller.

Here's where you can go next level. Let the bag also search through all bags.

Why?

so DM's can just put all of the mobs they want inside of a bag and then drop that bag inside of your Initiative tracker bag. That would be disgustingly effecient and save DMs a ton of time.
MrStump  [author] 11 Jan, 2018 @ 8:42pm
Yes, that's possible. And easy way to accomplish it would be to use a raycast above the token to look for items. Then if that fails, check its NAME field. Then it THAT fails, default name. Are there other changes you can think of to improve it?
UltraViolence 11 Jan, 2018 @ 4:12pm
Thank you for making this btw, it's excellent.
UltraViolence 11 Jan, 2018 @ 4:11pm
Would it be possible to do this ( i'm a dev as well i know the pain) but as a feature sit an object on top of a roller, then roll initiative and have the NPC roller take the name of the object sitting on top of it? that way when initiative is rolling it will find the nearest object to it and and take its num, thus the list in the initiative tacker reflects the names of teh NPCs that were sitting on top of each roller?
MrStump  [author] 7 Jan, 2018 @ 9:49pm
They are, functionally, basically the same. Player names get bolded in the notes, that is the most significant difference I can recall
UltraViolence 7 Jan, 2018 @ 6:17pm
What is the difference between the MOB/NPC and the Player rollers? they seem to function the same.
MrStump  [author] 8 Nov, 2017 @ 7:26am
You can edit the script to do that. Just search for math.random(1,20) and change the 20 to an 8
Brazilian Fentanyl 7 Nov, 2017 @ 6:08pm
Great mod! I am very pleased with this. Also, what would I have to change in the script to make it roll 1d8 instead of 1d20?
Maska666 24 Aug, 2017 @ 1:55pm
It would be GREAT. Can't wait... In order to reach the perfection there should be something that allows GM to manage and inform the players about who's turn is going on.
MrStump  [author] 23 Aug, 2017 @ 12:23pm
Yeah, I could work that into another version of this guy. I could make it roll a physical die for each player too for funsies. People prefer that in my experience, being able to see it in action.

So each player would get a disk like before, except if you click its center it does a roll. Make the NPC/creature disks like that too. Then make a control board that lets the DM you clear out the results, roll everything or spawn new tokens.

Sound good? Am I missing anything it should have?
Maska666 23 Aug, 2017 @ 8:53am
Best Initiative tool in the workshop. It would be definitive if every player could press their own button to make them feel less passive.
entr0py 7 Apr, 2017 @ 6:20pm
OH MY! so badly needed this. Thank You!
