I like the item. So are you need any help with Rep update?

@super m I didn't think people still used this mod, I'll see if I have time to update it soon

well it does not work for Repentance. Learned that the hard way....

And of course, DST's version of the Telltale Heart is, like this one, a reference to said story.

There is a slight bug where if you have HUD Offset on then the sword and the heart don't line up properly.

The name is a reference to Edagr Allen Poes' short story "The Telltale Heart".

I like the reference but it does seem a bit at odds with the sprite for the item.

@Lightly secretly

so, this is a reference to "Don't Starve Together", isn't it?

@sawbladex it works by pretty much doing the same as what the lost does, making your health always be 1 heart (or 1 soul heart when youre blue baby). And i could make it work before the trinkets by checking if the player has the trinket but i think its fine like this
sawbladex 17 Apr, 2017 @ 4:39pm
This is a really interesting mod. I like that it is a res item that does something before you kick the bucket, and that it makes characters mimic the lost. (And I'm actually kinda interested in seeing how you do it.)

(Oh, and trinkets and passives overlapping functionality is as old as WotL, so don't worry about it. (Infestation and fish head, and pinky eye and common cold.)

So this is basically a global Missing Poster
T33JAYgotBars 15 Apr, 2017 @ 7:54pm
and it is called this on dishonored
je suis une pomme de terre  [author] 15 Apr, 2017 @ 3:52pm
@0-3 sad onions Yeah kinda, i actually came up with the idea of reviving as the lost before the missing poster did that, so i changed it into this.

I even made a sprite for it back then ;P http://imgur.com/gallery/w3ucM

You can turn your health back to normal though which you cannot do with missing poster with most characters once you're the lost
sheo 15 Apr, 2017 @ 12:08pm
It's still very similar, though.
je suis une pomme de terre  [author] 15 Apr, 2017 @ 10:28am
@Ultimatemaster28 like i said in the description, its not the same as missing poster. You respawn as the character you currently are and not as the lost
Ultimatemaster28 15 Apr, 2017 @ 9:02am
basicly the lost poster
je suis une pomme de terre  [author] 15 Apr, 2017 @ 8:47am
@thenobletj they do indeed look-alike lol
T33JAYgotBars 15 Apr, 2017 @ 6:12am
on dishonored the heart shows enemy weaknesses and secret runes and stuff
Samtar 15 Apr, 2017 @ 4:47am
The lost will remember this
RuneDuke 15 Apr, 2017 @ 2:51am
Can show me version on Rebirth?
Please!
je suis une pomme de terre  [author] 14 Apr, 2017 @ 3:15pm
@Darktail Its also a story by Edgar Allan Poe :P
The item itself doesnt really look like the telltale heart from dont starve though, there it is some spider guts bound together with rope.
