Update this or i'll be really mad at you
Sjru 🐲 11 Jun, 2019 @ 5:34pm
@Prof. von Calamity Gigastructural Engineering & More has this kind of structure integrated so I don't think this will be updated.
Prof. von Calamity 11 Jun, 2019 @ 3:16pm
Is there a realistic chance of this mod being updated for compatibility with the new 2.3.0 , or is it hopeless?
Grimlich 4 Apr, 2018 @ 5:03pm
Joining my voice to "the plz upate" crowd
Sir_Poroto 24 Feb, 2018 @ 7:52am
will you update it to the 2.0 version?
Mindlessmrawesome 9 Aug, 2017 @ 8:14pm
UPDATE PLSSSS
ExperimentFailed 2 Aug, 2017 @ 10:23am
Please update the mod to the current version of stellaris when possible.
Chaincat 26 Jul, 2017 @ 4:26am
y'know, there is actually a theoretical megastructure that does this that vaguely obeys the laws of physics. It's called a star lifter.
Boxington Washington 21 Jul, 2017 @ 1:46pm
this would be epic if it looked like the star forge from Kotor 1
darthprimus123 12 Jul, 2017 @ 8:53pm
why not make a mod that makes this star forge look like the one from KOTOR
DGossing 16 Jun, 2017 @ 3:46pm
Maybe the Star Forge scoops up hydrogen from the star, fuses it into iron and processes it into shippable materials?
Body 7 Jun, 2017 @ 2:25pm
This look nothing like the Kotor Star Forge. But still pretty coool
Rastro 21 May, 2017 @ 7:11pm
500 is way too much....or is that the point?

Current physics, you can theoretically convert mass to energy and back.

The total entropy would need to be constant, according to E=mc^2

No update?
[DFB] Shadur 19 May, 2017 @ 10:31am
Looks like this mod may cause instability in the game as it currently is.
m.a.s.eve2000 10 May, 2017 @ 5:55am
Hello.
Is it possible to upgrade this mod for 1.6 version?
Thanks.
TheWorld 4 May, 2017 @ 6:01am
Hello. Could you please add russian localisation for the mod?
You can grab it here:

@Averax If you have the time, could you please give the star forge an event like vanilla does for the energy dyson sphere upon the stages completion? im always forgetting it even exists because i get no alert/popup while the other megastructures do, Really love the mod tho as its a lifesaver in minerals
Jason 25 Apr, 2017 @ 2:56pm
i mean its not magic you are just creating minerals through harvasting of suns
darthprimus123 22 Apr, 2017 @ 1:38am
how about a mod that make this megastructure look like the Star forge itself
Simuran 20 Apr, 2017 @ 5:08am
It's not quite magically. Theoretically, you can transform energy into matter
Averax  [author] 19 Apr, 2017 @ 10:39pm
@qiwi checksums you have to choose between building one or the other :)
@molberg its requirements are the same as a dyson so you'll unlock it with the same perk :)
IllegibleScream 19 Apr, 2017 @ 4:26pm
Do I unlock this alongside the Dyson Sphere? Or do I need to use another Ascension Perk?
Sergei 19 Apr, 2017 @ 1:48pm
Why not /also/ have 500 energy?
Soup Kitchen 17 Apr, 2017 @ 9:33pm
@Amberlight Isaac Arthur is dope! You read my mind!
SumYungGuy 17 Apr, 2017 @ 3:40pm
Eeeee Isaac Arthur! I was just about to post the same link!
Amberlight 17 Apr, 2017 @ 12:30am
Speaking of, here is a good material on starlifting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzuHxL5FD5U
Amberlight 17 Apr, 2017 @ 12:28am
Call it a Star Lifting Facility. It's a reasonable concept of lifting matter from the star - after all, even though stars are mostly made out of helium and hydrogen they have more heavy elements than all the planets in the solar system combined - just because the stars are so massive.
Xsnowmagex 16 Apr, 2017 @ 10:38pm
Or you could assume that instead of making materials out of nothing, it makes energy like a dyson sphere but then your empire automatically trades it off for minerals.
Skelebone 13 Apr, 2017 @ 3:35pm
Maybe the interior of the forge is just ramscoops? Plus, you can still use the solar energy to initiate the fusion reactions.
Averax  [author] 13 Apr, 2017 @ 3:32pm
True, but a bunch of solar panels doing all that is the part that doesn't make sense :P
Skelebone 13 Apr, 2017 @ 3:23pm
Stellar lifting is realistic though. Stars puke out a lot of hydrogen that you can use in fusion reactors to get power and helium. Then you use the helium to get power and and lithium, and so on, until you get iron. Then you just get iron by turning magnesium into iron, and anything more complex then iron, you actually lose energy due to the nuclear fusion.

Good mod though.
Averax  [author] 13 Apr, 2017 @ 1:35pm
@dh yes sorry. I'll mark it in the description.
ZzingZzing 13 Apr, 2017 @ 6:53am

@robobird cheers :)
robobird3000 12 Apr, 2017 @ 3:15pm
@Averax
I can make a german localisation. But I'm currently working on another one and having strange trouble there. I'll come back when I'm finished.
Averax  [author] 12 Apr, 2017 @ 12:46pm
@warangel yep :) energy is important too!
VS-lockon 12 Apr, 2017 @ 12:45pm
okay so i can have both that good that was i was asking bc i like get energy as well
Averax  [author] 12 Apr, 2017 @ 12:42pm
@warangel you cna have both the star forge is independant :)
VS-lockon 12 Apr, 2017 @ 12:40pm
dose this taake the plase Dyson Sphere or is Star Forge some thing it self
Averax  [author] 12 Apr, 2017 @ 12:35pm
If anyone can help with the localisation for foreign languages it is very much appreciated :)
