When might we get a 1.6.1? It seems I can't get the 1.6.0 one to work for me. Might I have to start a new game for it to work? Or could it be that droids aren't robots and considered a new species?:happy_creep:

It looks like the friggin Xenophiles are triggered by ptimitive life as well (the guys you can Uplift).
And since there is no way, to edit the rights of these primitives, before you uplift them...

It would be great, if you could fix that as well

It doesn't, because they still haven't done anything about the xenophile part (they only fixed egalitarian).

Thank you. I spent about 1 hour looking though different setting, menus and planets in may game, trying to figure out, where this stupid debuff came from...
Finally googled it and found this!

So I downloaded this mod, but my -20% happiness isn't going away. So I'm wondering if this mod will work with an existing save or if I have to start a fresh game?

Thanks for your efforts! This works great. I initially thought that the happiness modifier wasn't removed but you just need to wait for a bit.

An odd thought: my very first empire was spiritualist and xenophile. It came and went many patches ago, before this particular glitch, but without this fix, would I be in a catch-22 situation where they hate me if I do one thing but also hate the opposite? (Aside from the fact that spiritualist gov'ts are outright forbidden from building robots now, that is.)
