OG Proztate, Celdis: I´m sorry you have a problem with traders. Most players I play with don´t have a problem with them, mostly we just leave one zed alive and move to the trader. But by making the trader global, you could just stay in one position and thats it.

As a Metro fan I looked forward to this one. boy howdy was I disappointed. Visually the map is cool. Playing it however is a whole other story. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. Was this even play tested? (serious/q)You just get stuck in this loop of the round restarting before you can make it to the pod. Maybe if you play as a Gunslinger you would make it? Quick uninstall for me. serious/q

This map is awesomely creepy. The ambient sounds and visuals are great and I love the little details with mutants around some parts. One issue is just the trader pods being so far away from each other. I just barely made it through due to missing out on one pod and just barely making it to the last. Other than that this map is amazing

I love the map however by zones being so far and the only method to reach them being slow railcars I would like it if there could be an updated/copy of the map with the buy zone being everywhere other than that the map is amazing! :execution:

if there was a way to get around the map quicker, it would be a pretty good map. otherwise, it's just too big for its own good.

I tried lot's of stalker maps in this game, and i loved them all. But this one is crashing my server, i could not figure out why. :(

Possibly one of the best ported maps to come to this game. Very immersive and spooky! :steamsad:

My team and I swore we saw a ghost disappear into the dark and the distance gunshots/screams didn't help us out much either, haha! :steammocking:

it would be great if you coudl make it so you dont have to run 500m to trader sometimes. either a way to make the cart work every wave, or possibly make it a holdout map, where you progress downt he tunnel.

great work, but the distance is tough.

The ambience of this map is wonderful, and really well done. But in several areas you can clip right into walls, there's only one trader, there are invisible walls out of nowhere that get you killed if you're running anywhere, it's just a mess.
It's really really pretty and nice to look at, but in my opinion it's just not very fun to play.
I'll definatley be keeping an eye out for anything you do in the future though. :thumbsup:

Ambient is fine, that´s how it should be, find me a major bugs and then maybe I will release an update but I will not upload 1gb because of one thing, sorry.

:tu1:Enjoyable atmosphere, the track vehicle is a nice touch, but unless I'm missing something, it seems to be only 1 use (can't use it to go back down the trax). Fun map, somehow I had missed it. Good for leveling my sharp :Reticule:

This map is really incredible, but I noticed too much lag playing coop, I think it was cause zeds spawn rate. Any future fix for this issue?

This map is both gorgeous, unsettling, creepy and somehwhat unplayable (at least I'm getting hefty frame drops while sprinting over 350m to the next trader).

The ambient is fantastic, it feels and sounds and looks like Metro. I don't know what an insane amount of effort you put into this, so hats off - the first and only time I've been genuinely scared in KF2. (thx to Metro, not KF2, that is)

But it's - true to the original - too much corridor and imo the walking distance is too long.

Still, awesome map - if I ever want to piss myself, I will fire it up again!

There is a bugged weapon spawn in the lone passenger car.

The weapon spawn is on a passenger seat, and the player is unable to actually grab the weapon while passing by the seat. The player is also unable to jump onto the seat, I don't know if that factors in.

I wanted to save space. Metro ambient has something like 20 fitting ambients for this map. By adding ghost screams I saved myself time in kismet. Nobody will really notice that the sounds are repeating and yes I made a loop after 18 minutes. I think you can add over 1h of ambient. If you check my box without hope trippy version, I added the whole mix in the game.

I have another question related to the custom ambient sounds, when you said that you made them with Sony Vegas, did you make it so that the Metro theme songs are in a singular audio file that is really, really long and loops after it ends and you added other random sound effects randomly to the sound clip?

Or are the ambient sounds completey independent and not part of the songs?

Alright. I probably make the tunnel in my first first travesible by walking and then see if I can and want to make the vechile movable. I don't know if you have played the mobile Dead Space game but if you have, you probably can imagine what I mean.

that's gonna take a long while and have to see if I finish it, but for starters, I'll make one area to get used to things and then add more things. The tunnels in your system look very well made and I was planning to make something similar as well to my maps since it can work.

Do you think it's possible to make it so that you make it so that you can hop onto a moving vechile, climb onto it and then fight enemies on it, similar how you did the cart thing but a bit better?

Alright, thanks. I'm planning to make a Dead Space map and right now ripping some level models. However, NinjaRipper rips the shader models as well which are 2D meshes where the shader effects are then applied to. I think I can however use KF2 shader effects in place of the ripped lighting effects.

There is a smoke pfx that I ported in sdk and made a particle from it. About the ambient, I mixed it in Sony Vegas so that should be ok. Only the trigger sounds like cart or the arachnid could be louder, not really a game breaking stuff.

Also I have some feedback about the sounds, some roars sound like the Metro mutants are yelling right at your feet, you should edit them with Audacity so that they sound echoy and not too loud. Same with the ambient ghost sounds (or whatever they are :D)
