This current version of AME will not be updated for 2.0. I'll be releasing a seperate 2.0-compatible version eventually once I've had more time to figure out how I want to balance the numbers; see the Planned changes topic in Discussions for an idea of how things will change.

No. All of their ship loadouts are predesigned.

What happened is that I removed some modules to cut down on redundancy/clutter, and never got around to removing the strings/localisation entries for the removed modules.

I just noticed a bug where the Multiloader wasn't actually conferring any bonuses when installed, as I used 'modifier' instead of 'ship_modifier'. This has been fixed.

As a heads up; I'll probably be uploading a seperate version of AME for Cherryh/2.0, as I understand the changes in the patch are pretty significant and folks may want to stick on older versions for as long as they can for whatever reason. I don't typically like to do this sort of thing, but I also want to go back and redo some of the content from scratch anyway now that I better understand how some things work.

AME2 will also incorporate some other new content in the form of new techs and components.

Other Future Plans:
Martin's teaser today suggested that armour will be a seperate pool of 'health', alongside SP and HP. I'll be adjusting various all the modules to compensate, of course.

If armour and hull repair are seperate values, then expect to see armour/hull rep modules get added (of course). There may also be armour platings and the like, but I'll have to wait and see how the module changes shake out before I make any decisions.

I'm also considering expanding the range of engine/thruster slot options with some variants.

I can't really claim ownership over the icons or anything since I didn't make them and I didn't run them through any particularly extensive editing/tweaking, so it's kind of a moot point anyway? :conwayshrug:

Future Plans:
So, we all had the big FTL change announcement yesterday. Having kept an ear on the devstreams, it turned out about how I expected, just with extra :steamsalty:. The way I see it this is a long-term improvement and will fix a lot of current issues, but this isn't the place for debating it :conwayshrug:.

If Paradox don't beat me to it, one of the first things I'll probably test out adding is variant hyperdrives. The navigation upgrades will also be tweaked depending on how changes to hyperlanes themselves shake out.

Well they just updated stellaris to 1.8.3, and I can confirm that it's working still. So there you are. (probably unrelated, but huge lag spike when clicking an aux slot)
