Schockr there is an akira class model but it is ugly in my opinion :/

MemeOfTheMonth, Unlikely, this was quite the effort and another Enterprise is not on my list to build :P

Szynszyl, I quite fancied making the Akira class myself too. I think someone did already do that model, but I may have a look at my own version at some point.

Remx, Let's see you do better ;)

As soon as there's a cut/paste tool.. I'll get right on that ;)

Fair enough on the stairways. That said, there's no reason why you can't change it up for stairways. I do that myself on my designs.

As for the neck, I find it's actually WIDER than your design. However, it isn't as long, meaning the saucer is too far forward. You can probably pull off condensing it, by having two neck decks stacked one on top of each other, then the next two is one space forward, and, finally, using the 2x1 slopes to finish the look.

And, finally, I think you can use some of the small slope pieces to better define the deflector dish. It's worth a shot, though obviously results are not guaranteed.

But, overall, I really like it. :D

The wall I think you were referring to is Industrial Hallway Section. The reason I went for Deco Wall - Type 3 is because it doesn't interfere with stairwells.

Thank you for your comments. I might give that a go. There are many things that make this differ from the real 1701-D, the neck is too wide for starters. But a lot of this was to ensure there was useful space in the ship. I figured I'd use artistic license and say this was my take on the iconic ship :D

I love the work you've put into it! There's actually a wall tile that would probably work better for the hallways; it's the same one that has the built-in sign variant. Try those, and see if it does the proper feel.

My only complaint is the size of the saucer, and the length of the neck; it's too far forward, and the saucer is about 20% too small.

Other than that, that's a great recreation for this game. :)

Changes have been made.. including engineering consoles in the transporter rooms.

I'll take a look at making those changes. Life support was the last thing I put in, and even then it's not something I thought too hard about.

Here are my observations-

In the transporter room, if an engineering console was placed facing the transporter it would look like the control pannel you would see in a ST teleporter room.

Love the red carpet in the halls.

Reactor room- needs pads for the fresh and spent rods, turbines, and lockers for heat syncs.

Lift support- Only one for a ship this large? I would put in 6 so you wouldn't have to tend it constantly.

Like said in the description, not a one man ship, it would be impossible to use this with one person, by the time you got to the ejection ports to deploy the defense drones your ship would be toast. The two turrets face to the side, so you can't target where the pilot is looking.
