I'm not trying to be "mean" to him, but threantening a lawsuit, and subpoena and you bet your ass I'mma call him out.
+1
So, in short, someone could literally use all of these zips of yours I have downloaded off of Dundjinni freely which have no stipulation on licensing for commercial purposes and you couldn't really do anything about it :|.
Honestly get real dude if you threatened to hire a lawyer. You released your artwork in a manner (on Dundjinni) where it could be readily saved and disseminated throughout the internet, for free. There is no lawsuit to be had here, there are no damages, and none of the posts on Dundjinni relay any specific creative commons license. Attribution to you is nothing but courtesy at this point rather than a point of legal contest.
I've also downloaded several of the zip folders you've uploaded onto Dundjinni of which none contained any sort of terms of service or licensing information.
Send it my way
I have a comprehensive list of names for whoms suffix is whos in most peoples art packs, should you wish it
I cannot PM you as your profile is private.
I'm not trying to scare you.
And I would still like you to add that all files including the suffix ae, were produced by aegean, that they are free to use them and are free to be used in commercial work providing due credit is given.
And that isn't asking much.
So please, if you would be so kind as to credit me with and add that I wish to be given due credit.
It would also be very polite of you to give credit to Dundjinni artists in general for producing such art as you are using.
Thank you very much for your kind attention
I said I would put up the notice when I got home, and I also said I would add you to the KNOWN artist list if you can just simply PM me proving it was made by you. If you're not comfortable with doing that fine, but stop threatening to hire a lawyer.
Some people are too extra.
I'll be sure to update it when I get home, it was never my intention to steal any art I found this on a megaupload on a dnd subreddit.
I guess I should of specified that I didn't make anything, just compiled it.
On the other hand can you please provide proof that you created the art?
I think it's due to Dungeon painter studio. I tried seperating it into subfolders as well but It wouldn't let me upload. I have Pyro added on steam (The dev of DPS). I'll be speaking with him about this issue. Thanks :)
For instance, if you go to the Asphalt folder, you have several different types of black asphalt, green asphalt, red asphalt, etc. Ideally, each color should be grouped in their own folder so it randomizes which texture it uses, so it doesn't look tiled.
I planned on uploading this same texture pack back a few months ago, so I organized a lot of the textures, but alas I couldn't upload it for some reason. If you want, I can send what I finished your way.
Glad to hear you fixed your issue. Sorry I could not be of help!
I'll be adding more here soon!
