Just a note, the mod works fine for me. Gargoyles target properly and the Basilisk fires and overheats correctly. Just a note, make sure you aren't running in creative, as the above notes, it breaks the weapons. Haven't tested the capacitors as I'm powering mine with a x100 Arc reactor, 100GW is more than enough output to power the Basilisk.

Weapons in the mod fail to function correctly now. (Basilisk parts can be placed down, but the capacitors don't charge, and neither does the basilisk, which means it can't fire as it doesn't have the ability to accumulate any energy anymore.)

I have been looking for a working directed energy mod for over a month. some work but cause huge performance issues, others don't work at all.

Does this mod work still work?

I accidently built a large number of these supercapacitors thinking they were regular powercells (I don't yet have that mod which color-codes all the different blocks in menu) I don't want to recycle them just yet so I'm curious what other systems / components can you use these in besides your energy weapons mod?

The Taurus doesn't seem to work, either in survival or creative. Along with this, the "Control" button on its interface is grayed out., and the idle movement isn't a thing either.

How do you change the color of the beams? I've edited the ammo data but it doesn't seem to work, I'd love to know how so I can do so in my SP World

currently the supercapacitor has a hitbox but no textures. I'm not sure if i'm the only one but it might be something to check.

i have to say though that it all looks amazing

The supercapacitor fails to provide power when used with the GSF Energy Weapons Pack's turrets. Or possibly at all; I haven't tried it with any other kind of turret.

I have been subscribed to and using this mod for a long time now! It still works for my purposes, although I wonder, shouldn't the Minotaur have a sound effect?
I like that this mod simply adds reasonable weapons, without going way over the top. I have a request, though. I have edited a few mods before, just small stuff like finding and changing values... But not on Steam games. Can someone tell me how I can, say, change the firing distance or speed or something on this mod, and have it stay that value? Steam seems to "fix" it after any change I make.
For that matter, anyone want to teach me to mod? I have interest, and time to spend on it, I just have trouble learning without a teacher. : p

This mod hasn't been updated for over 8 months. A lot of issues still exist. Basically don't expect anything "fixed" or added. Its dead.

I used this mod for awhile, the Minotaur turrets were pretty kickass, but I stopped because one, it was weird seeing these old no-texture surfaces right out in the open (if it wasn't weapons, I could hide them behind armor or something) and two, it didn't have any fixed weapons for ships large or small.

So, two requests:
(1) Can you get Shaostoul to do more of his awesome models for this, too?
(2) How about making single cannons from the Minotaur available as fixed guns, for large and small ships?

I'm not even going to make a request about the laser lance or the gargoyle. The Minotaurs were the only weapons from this mod that I really found useful (and that MA Lasers didn't provide something better.)

They're meant to be point-defense lasers, not anti-fighter turrets. They fill that role anyway if you have enough of them, though.

add small ship lasers and make the stationary lasers more powerdul they are like gattling guns but bulkier make them more powerful and add small weapons for small ships

Dear Seff, i would Greatly Appreciate it if you helped me Tweak the laser lance Turret so that it Functions much like a halo energy projector turret. MREvan312 And I would VERY much appreciate it, and i'm sure we can Rope Razortron into making Some Stationary Rocket launcher sized emmiters for Normal, and SUPER energy Projectors.

Love this Mod! I would also vote to try and impliment a slider for the color, but more so, I would love if you could make a smaller (not "small") version of the Mass Driver. I would love to run a medium size ship with that as the only weapon.

I Ask my self, if it would be possible, to add sliders, to adjust the Color of the Beams, like in the Automated Beam Drill Mod from Phoenix. this would be really nice.

I really hope you do another round of polish for this mod. I use the basilisk on all my larger ships, but I wish it had sound or a nicer effect. But it's great seing Darth's old Mass Driver put in to a - in my opinion - a cooler mod. But it needs an update, it does :)
