If you want a really neat--and real life!--"ultimate polearm weapon", then you should check out the Nine Dragon Trident (Google Images has a bunch of pics). Quite an interesting and unique polearm, and, to me, it feels right for Kenshi.

@dq_177 the things are all identified internally by names like 56243-MyMod.mod so there shouldn't ever be a data clash, at worst you'd end up with two things with the same ingame name that exist. Not entirely sure about texture/model file name confilcts but at worst you'd end up with a aesthetic problem.

There shouldn't be and conflicts. The mod does little more than add three new weapons for sale or crafting. The only potential issue I can see is if a mod removed heavy weapons from being researchable, and even then you could find these weapons at shops.

I carried other weapon mods through dozens of update imports without issue, when I decided to drop them, I imported without them, also without issue. When I wanted them back, importing them in brought no new issues. It would seem Kenshi is very robust in this regard. I have no fear of weapon mods.

There's unlikely ever to be a conflict with this mod and future updates, right?

Getting kind of stymied by the amount of different weapons in the game, could do with some new variations like this.

Thanks! They're nothing in comparison to the works of other weapons mods available currently, but I'm still trying to get to grips with Blender and modeling in general. I planned on updating this a couple days ago, but might finally get around to it today. Then I might start looking into how I can be more creative besides butchering models and putting them together.

I actually have a really edgy bladed polearm I'm working on that'll fit under "Exotic Weapons" with handguards that are (ideally) going to go where the hands are positioned when used in combat. I'll get around to that once I finish my next mini-mod this coming day or so. ;)

Say, that's nice! Could you do something similar with jitte or heavy jitte to get a sort of "guarded staff" type thing with handguards? Probably nonsensical, but it looks neat in my mind.

Currently there are only two weapons introduced, and they are presented in the screenshots and changelogs (I'll be sure to move that info from the changelogs and update the main description for convenience): the Spiked Staff and the Heavy Staff. I'm still getting the hang of Blender, so those are all I have to show for right now, but I want to introduce at least three more with this little mini-mod. :)
