@beastdefence808 technically speaking I no longer support this mod, but there is a "Lite" version about. it's not as big as this version.

Just wanted to add a note that I really like your coding! Checking this mods sources atm for a compatibility fix with CypRyan's Wide & Tall . Very clean and structured, in contrast to mine... :steamhappy:

Changes to the pantheons from R.E will cause probable overlaps with benefits to certain pantheons. And the additional religious buildings are not supported by my mod.

The same goes for the additional beliefs that it adds.

@Citrakayah Makes sense, but I sadly don't plan on adding support, it's a lot of work and I myself don't actually use that mod. I was hoping to get around to doing my own buildings overhaul but it's unlikely at this stage.

The mod has been updated to 5.4, it includes a general nerf pass on pretty much every belief, and updates the mod to support the New Frontier Pass (including new Pantheon!)

What an amazing mod. For people that want to know the details, you can subscribe and then look in the localization folder of the mod to see the text for every belief. The changes are extensive and make religion very powerful, which is exactly what I wanted because religion seems a bit underpowered to me.

Some mod developers share a Google Doc to list the exact changes. I know Civilizations Expanded does that at least

Right, but exciting and tame are subjective terms, so it's impossible to know whether this mod would appeal or not without actually having some details on specific changes. The intentions might be good, but we may disagree about the implementation.
The other option is to check in-game, but that takes considerable time and might "ruin" saves (is this mod save compatible?).

It's my opinion that a clear description for a mod goes a long way. As for the character limit, it exists but surely it's big enough to list the new mechanics and at least a part of the beliefs.
If typing and formatting is not your forte, you could upload additional screenshots to showcase the additions. There are also other options I've seen modders use, spreadsheets, online docs, whatever.

@Echo - it clearly states that this mod adds "new and exciting" beliefs. to "spice up the vanilla tame ones". There isn't much I can add to that without having to list every single change I've made. There's also a hard character limit in the descriptions that really limit what I can and cant' write, which makes it difficult to get everything across.

It's not clear what this mod changes, or what it adds. The trello board also doesn't give relevant details, just task progress.

I have my religion as the majority in a city, and a temple in the holy site, and no other worship buildings, but it doesn't show up in the production screen or the faith purchase menu. I haven't looked into the problem very much, but I turned off all my other mods that affect religion and nothing changed.

@mjocur413 - I checked and I can build the Worship buildings just fined. When you say it's not letting you, what exactly do you mean? Do you have a Temple in the city? Does the city have the religion as its majority? Is there no other building there already?

It's not letting me build any of the reworked worship buildings. I figured that it was a conflict with religion expanded, but it's not. Does anybody else know what's happening?

@RyoHazuku - it's the "text", every text in game is really LOC_YES_BUTTON, and the game, depending on the language, adjusts the text to be Yes, or Si, or Tak etc.

Localization is the process of translating games.

@RyoHazuki - Oh I'm glad to hear your old save is still working! A nice side-effect, though make sense. Let me know if you stumble upon any missing localization keys, since I had to manually re-do a lot of the keys (cries)

@RyoHazuki - I'm aware, they removed two or more beliefs so that alone is breaking the mod, I just haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. Though from what I can gather they didn't make religion any better xD - I will get around to it soon.

Hi Bear, just to notify, something seems to happen since the last update.. firaxis touched some pantheons and beliefs, and i believe they created some incompatibility with the mod. Could you check please, right now you cant start a new game with your mod active.

@MarshmallowBearHello it is me again. I have found that your mod conflicts with the 'Better Visual Notifications / Notifications +' mod. Turning off the latter mode automatically eliminates the problem I wrote about, and you can choose beliefs.
I don't know which mod should be modified to remove the conflict, but it just tells you.

@leszek.j966 - Sorry, but I checked and everything is working fine, are you running just the mod with the DLCs?

This sounds liek the same issue you reported earlier, when a mod is update or a new game version comes out certain mods will auto enable.

The current version of the module is incompatible with the game.
I can't set up a pantheon, when the opportunity arises I click to set up a pantheon I only have a blank screen / board which definitely blocks further play

@MarshmallowBear An interesting idea, I reviewed the fmods that I have included, and so on those related to religion / beliefs, and turned it off altogether4:

Unfortunately, after turning on "Bear's Mods - Religious Overhaul" there is no result for now.

@leszek.j966 - Look for any mods that specifically change the Pantheon Chooser file in specific (and for safety measure check if they replace Religious Screen too since both are modifier by this mod).

@MarshmallowBear Yes i use. but due to the fact that I use more than one mod and a not very good way of shifting information to which category a given mod belongs to. It takes time to review all this. In addition, not everyone for the subscribed mod is turned on, it also complicates the matter.

At the moment I have launched 3 different maps / games as part of the 'GS' extension and each time it was the same. When the opportunity to choose the pantheon appeared, an empty board appeared. Yes, I have other mods included, I haven't tried yet, run maps only with this mod.

When I turned this mode off, I could choose beliefs as part of my pantheou.

The new version has bugs, if we're just starting a new game then you can't create a pantheon. And this blocks the game from the very beginning, the page with a choice of beliefs is empty !!
