I released two standalone mods today, one to unlock Grand Campaign factions and one with formation improvements. Better testudo is included there.

Ok, cool man,,,,,,, I shall wait,,,, Remember that better testudo,,, I know its only a 1 line thing,,,, but its important.... Its the only formation thats uninque to Rome and slingers cant be killing you when you use it,,,,,, Thanks again.......

Right at the moment it's possible to use this with patch 19. You won't have the new DLC factions like Kush in your campaign but Meroe, Himyar and Blemmys are still there. However, it works perfectly if you don't want to play with a new faction.

I will release the patch 19 update as a new mod to don't break old games.

The testudo mod is a one line thing, very easy to make.

This mod was great, Especially the testudo, to bad that mod doesnt exist anymore.... Scipio Africanvs went private I think and his mods went bye-bye along with him.. Shame....

thank you, I will wait before I select this mod. if youre ever in the market for more unit addons the mods "Romes Imperial Guard" and Maybourne's Armoured Romans" are a good fit and 100% compatible. The second one he said he doesnt mind if people use his mod since hes done modding. Thank you for all you do.

Yes, but I would be carefull. This compilation might overwrite some tables that were changed with the patch and therefor need to be updated. I'm going to update my single mods first because it's easier.

I'm sure this comes as little surprise, but it does need to be updated, but indeed does still run on patch 19. Game starts up, and I managed to start a GC. So, it works, (At least at start) with the faction unlocker how it is, it messes up the new factions.

Hm, try to delete your AppData, check your Rome II/data folder for unneeded folders, unsubscribe and resubscribe to the mod and make sure it's active in the launcher and so on.
Do you get the new faction emblems for example? Or is nothing working?

Majority of the mods don't appear to be activating. Such as factions and a few changes to the campaign. Anything i might be missing as to why they don't work anymore?

so, I updated the compilation. I had to delete some content, now I hope I've found all incompatibilities. At least the game is working.

Maybe you won't find it in a combo-mod but in different mods. Unit mods are easy to update; I combined many in my NordoUnits Compilation which are working with the latest Patch. Campaign camera should be an easy thing I think.

Well, different people, different opinions. I'm not a fan of infinite ammo and for me the unit size is big enough, I become problems in huge multiplayer games then. But yes I agree with the other points.

traits talents and toadies n factions i get, pretty critical mod, the rest why bother, pretty useless when patches risk stuffing it all each update, i have a list, the 6 i deem THE MOST CRITICAL AND USEFULcriticals:1 more unit variety eg britons, arabic, myrmidons, spartans, and maybe a big wolfman n radious combo watever compatible, 2 zoom camera (of some sort), 3 more imperium, hence more units, 4 more men per unit (for all the units, stock amount pathetic), 5 all playable factions 6 better diplomacy (and maybe better food) if an author made these a combo mod n could work out how to regularly update would b most useful mod in rome 2 by far,but been sayin it for years, noone listens, not havin these mods breaks the game, unplayable without, why i never play this, always been my fav game, but unplayable coz well noone listens

This is a huge compilation of mods from other authors. I wouldn't even know what's nessessary to update them. We have to wait if they update their mods or maybe I find time to look into something.

Ha, you misunderstand me. I mean some other old mods I found in Rome 2 mod market, which they still look cool or I like. There are dozens of them, like the examples I told you several days ago.

No you don't have to test those mods. They are working. I'm using them. As I said I played many campaigns with this compilation.

Then it means I will have to test those old mods one by one myself. And even if some of them don't crash your game, they might still cause some little bugs. This is a lot of testing work.

Because they change graphical things only or just one parameter. Things that weren't changed with the latest patch.

I found 4 mods which were last updated in 2014. I am not good at programming, and honestly I don't understand, how would the game still hold since they are way before the latest game patch?
