@madkirk74 Here's a simple way to add the nav mesh yourself very fast:

Go to a flat part of the map. Then, press ~ to open the console. Then, type in the console "nav_mark_walkable" then "nav_generate". Just wait until the map reloads itself it will lag for a bit until then. After the map has restarted, you now have a Nav Mesh for that map.

Fantastic! I've done extensive research on brush looping and it involved transforming brushes into a func_tanktrain entity. I am assuming that for this map you used a "trigger_push" entity to give the player the illusion of being left behind when falling off of the train. This map definitely qualifies to be a great impact for the workshop. Thanks!

@TheOgre26 Look for scrolling texture HERE [gamebanana.com]. It makes the texture move on its surface. For the trees, they are parent to a path_tanktrain following a path_track. When they reach the end of the map, i teleport them back to the beginning

I am using hammer editor and I could not research the technique on the internet no matter how long I tried. I am planning to make a titanfall 2 map called "The Ark" which includes large spaceships flying over a mountainous land scape. I would very much like some advice on that developement and how non-displaced brushes can be looped in a sort of animation.

@TheOgre26 I remember one train map I played on before would place a looping landscape that scrolled past a static train, deleted after a certain point and placed again at the very beginning.

I am a fan of map makers who develope techniques to give players an illusion that they are moving. Can you explain how you did it with this map?

this is cool! but could you make custom trains that stop? or even better, speed up?
