you will see more unusual things in some of my later maps.
but they often have either an easier version in the earlier maps, or a video attatched, or both.
so playing in the correct order is recomended.
the alternating polarity funel, in this map (not my creation) will appear in the future.
I 1st saw this in someone elses map, as a zero gravity field. but saw more uses for it.
some things in later maps. I created myself. some I adapted from great mappers.

tip for 2nd room:
think in 3 dimentions.
you do need to press the 3 pedestal buttons, on the ceiling,
to get to the 1 on the floor, behind the laserfield.
funel esential.
the correct solution is physicaly easy to do.

Another cool chamber! You make special effects, that I have never seen anywhere else. Really liked the show with the turrets :-)

But I must confess, to my shame, that I didn´t manage to use the funnels for the 2nd room (I suppose I have to use them ?) to get up to the pedestal buttons... I may try it again another time.

But of course thumbs up for another unique creative work!

I enjoyed the puzzle yet again mood3rd, although this puzzle is a lot less deadly than some of your others in the "turret puzzle" series, infact in this one i didn't even consider them to be of any threat :) but even without the turrets this was a nice little puzzle with some enjoyable concepts used in a very enjoyable way :)

I saw it as a demo zero gravity field.
but I have never seen anyone use it this way before.
I would like to remember the demo maps creator, to credit them.
but so long ago, I can't remember.

how does the laser / platform / laser catcher work ?
when the laser is on, it hits the laser catcher
then the laser catcher alters the polarity of the funels.
at the same time, the laser catcher activates the piston.
which in lass than a second breaks the connection,
between the laser & laser catcher.
at this point the funels go back to blue.
& the laser catcher no longer activating the platform, the platform goes back to the wall.
at this moment the laser hits the laser catcher & repeats the cycle.
the laser & laser catcher being so close to the wall, makes the funels alternate
as quick as is posible, using the basic editor. (I think)
this fact is why it works.
notice with the lasers on the cieling, the funel can not be seen on the cieling.
you can drop the funels & raise the part of the cieling the funels hit & use enough grating,
to make them invisible, as well.

to build, place the laser & laser catcher as close to the wall as possible.
put the platform in between.
connect the laser catcher to the platform.
also connect the laser catch to the funels you want, use a polarity conection.
you can connect to 7 funels.
but you can build more of these & have a button activate the 1 laser for each of them.
the type of button is up to you. but it will need to connect to the funels,
to turn them on, if you don't want them to start enabled.
or the button connects to something else, that turns the funels on.

Right, I remember playing that one. I see the arrangement but it's the hookup I'm not familiar with. You know, the connection between what hooks to what with what component is or is not started in an activated state - that kind of thing. I don't have any plans in the near future to use such an arrangement so you don't have to take the time now to explain, but when and if I do begin to experiment and have problems with it you will be the person I ask, so thanks for that offer too.

That was totally cool. Nice to learn new things. (even though I do not totally understand how you create this mechanism to function like this) But just to move through the gameplay emersed in these elements is a trip and totally enjoyable. Thanks for that.

you need to bring the edgeless cube, back to the 1st chamber.
1st you need to press the pedestal button the other side of the laser fields.
to do that, you need to press the pedestal buttons on the cieling,
but for this, you need the alternating zero gravity funel, from the 1st room.
when you master it, you can move in any direction, as long as their are portable areas.
climb up a wall, like you do with a light bridge.
fire it at the floor below you, with the same technic & move across the room.
hope this helps. I have never seen enyone else, use it in this way, so might be new ?

In the beginning, I walked across the polarity field to the entrance into the 2nd chamber. I dismissed the turrets & saw the edgeless cube. Other than that, I knew not what to do.

updated to stop unintended sollution in room with sphere.
thank's to Ebbzylon, for finding it & informing me.
also 1 turret is now on a non-portable floor, the same room.
higher cieling in this area & exit area.

deflection: It was on my initial jump (before I could initiate see-saw on myself) I had a portal below the button on the floor, and was dropping from the top of the other room in a portal on the floor there (i.e. jumping off the funnel). Bad-alignment/mis-execution. If it had not been exactly below, I would have hit the ceiling instead of the button and would not have deflected.

Awsome that effect with the spinning turrets at the beginning. I paused and looked at them for a while LOL
I've been playing this game for quite a while now, and I keep seeing new visual effects in your maps. Great work.
Nice puzzle too.

I got bad lucky once, and bounced off one of the buttons on the ceiling to be deflected right into a laser field. Otherwise, was a smooth ride.

Perched Goal should not give you any problem, once you've catch that cube.

have loads to play through, but will get to them eventualy.
I turn my sound down when it anoys me.
the mechanism is the best I know to do the job, but unfortunatly the load sound comes with it.

his franking cube was part of the way up 1 of the shafts, behind a panel.
you have to open the panel with a laser, say somewhere else.
but no biggy, just an extra challenge

keep in mind, if someone either can't get your map in their list
or can but they get an error & it won't play.
this can normaly be solved by re-publishing the map.
thats all I did. went into editor & clicked publish (no updates)
though sometimes to many antlines or items is the cause.
I put glass over the exit area, to give players a preview of the turrets & goo,
they would have to deal with.

Hi mood3rd! I did all of you other maps! Just can get this one on my list, even if I sub again and again, close portal, re-open and re-sub!
