It will be soon update to 1.0. I don't think there is any change but I want to make it clean for the 1.0. That's also mean I will publish it apart from this one. The new link will be displayed here.

I update the mod. I didn't found any change since B18 so if you encounter error, put them here so I can look at it. Due to this, I will not upload two version of this mod (B18-B19). Those still on B18 should have the mod in red but it will still works perfectly fine.

The update is planned, but for the next week or the one after. Since I no longer play, I have to found the time to dig up the code of the game.

It works on my game but I use the original files and not the steam version. So I update the mod to be sure it uses the same file than me. Confirm me it works not (or not). edit : I try to use the steam version and it looks fine. Normally, tech are in a new tab :/

I had this mod in A17 and worked great, but now I just got it for b18 and the research options aren't showing up.

I just learn that the 0.18 was release a few day ago. I miss the update somehow. I'm currently a little bussy, too much to look how files evolve in 0.18. The update of this mod will probably comes at the beginning decembre.

Ah cool yeah that makes sense. Sorry, I was really just curious because it was confusing me. I kept looking for the textile bench it was talking about and then realise that text was for a different mod so I didn't have the bench haha.

Honnestly, I just update and improve the original mod (craftable synthetics (no steel) (a17 version)). This addon was add by the original writter of this mod. It, indeed, allow this mod to work with Ewpanded Cloth, even if you don't have it. I personnally let it like a first search in order for colonist to understand how everything works before looking specificaly for synthetics and hyperweave. That's why I don't remove it (that and the fact that it will broke every save where this research was done).

Can I ask, why does the mod include a research option for Cotton Processing which claims it unlocks a textile table for breaking down apparel but it appears to do nothing except delay the progression to Synthread research? The original mod doesn't have that and it looks like it's taken from the [T] ExpandedCloth mod. I kept wondering why it was there when I didn't have his mod installed.

any vanilla wool, that's why it said "ingredient" (because you can choose. it's the same for meal or stuff like that). In wool, you have : camel, muffalo, alpaga (for what I remember)

I have a problem with this mod. In work bench in details there is list what i need to make synthread but insted of 25 wool i see 25 ingredients. The rest is ok - 50 cloth, 25 chemfuel. I cant make synthread. What type of wool i need?? any wool?

I remember that I checked those two earlier, but the two options didn't show. Now they do! Maybe restarting the game a few times helped with loadorder or something. Thank you so much.

If you use a modded bench (not the vanilla one) it will not work. If you use a modded but still vanilla bench.. it whould work, unless one of your mod change the def name of the vanilla bench.
if you give me the name of the mods you use (only the ones affecting crafting, especialy telloring), I can try to figure out the problem and patch it.

Hey. I like the idea of this mod, very useful for the advanced prosthetics mods which require hyperweave. Traders are just not frequent enough for me to rely on.

BUT. I have a problem. After researching all three techs I still do not have any new crafting tables. I am guessing a mod-conflict, but could you maybe help out by telling me what the crafting bench is named.

WARNING this mod will break your save if you try to uninstall it after doing the research (you can load no problem but you cant save, it gives an error message). It will stop doing the error message on save if you re-enable it.

The output is 75 synthreads for, in input : 50 cloth, 25 wool (do not include the thumbo wool if you have this mod), and 25 chemfuel.

I'm glad someone need this. There are some details about pricing in the conversation mentioned above. If the T's «Expanded Cloth» is still working, this is the great couple to use together. Teneombre, please, make a link for it too.
