@TwoPheat yup! I agree, I'm bound to vanilla building for max compatibility, so screens has to go outside in every small ship, sometimes I can't even add all the things i want..

I like your lines here! If ony they included small ship windows as a default part.. imagine this on the inside!!!

So, it actually bombs , launching missiles downwards. Pretty good idea; it allows to fit reloadable launchers longitudinally, i.e. with conveyors facing forwards and backwards.
This allows for a much more sleek design which is still in eye-candy jet plane form-factor and still allows to install large braking ion thrusters without over-complicating the design.

Many bombers with lateral, forward-facing RRLs have that issue named "where do I place braking thrusters". The launchers and the cockpit take up most of the front-facing area, making it hard to fit in at least a pair of large ion thrusters. Hydrogen thrust could save the day, but it requires a huge tank for 1-2 minutes of work time, and the onboard oxygen generators require too much ice which makes the actual combat mass too high.

I take it your meaning mate, and thats why its a tactical instead of strategic bomber. It was originally meant to go with 3 warhead rigged high powered explosive ordnance, made to do solo bombing missions, but once you're dry, you're left with a quite heavy craft with a dual gatling gun, so i wen't for the tactical bomber type--it can remain in the battle performing a lot of bombing runs without having to worry about ammo anytime soon, the afterburner also adds to this role. It's not nuclear powered but highly versatile instead ;)

Looks great (those side ion thruster gondollas, HHHHNNNNNG!) as always and performance for a bomber is just... Wow.
I am not quite convinced by the main weapon system though. It looks like something that'd be hard to aim during combat and bomber have to approach within 800m so turrets will be a problem. Honestly, I'd expect more punch from a bomber. But all in all it's just rambling and nitpicking, great craft.
Would use, but I'd classify it as attacker.

That's awesome, puts my fighters to shame.
