Nolanthegamer1273 - I added the flat raised areas to the middle of the map, where the complex would be. That way you could build on it using some of those crazy tall towers in the workshop.
It felt weird putting a huge sheer sided mountain in the middle to simulate the complex/dish.
You make all good points. The roads in definitely could have used more work, but it's really the land sculpting that's the fun part for me. Totally missed the water flow, that's a big doh. My Warhammer themed maps have some full on proper rivers, this being all islands it swooshed...
I have a version where I've laid a full road/rail system in prep for a stream build, I may have to fix some of there problems there and then publish that version too.
