I made a ship so big this camera range is tiny and if you add a single extra block it instantly crashes the game. What's wrong with me?

I bet you could modify the cvars to get that effect; but beware, that's the equivalent of running hundreds of copies of reassembly concurrently. Just don't melt your CPU and you will be fine.

The slowdown on my i5 2500k @4.4Ghz was pretty intense and required the physics updates turning down to 15ups (even though all 4 cores were below 50% usage) so I switched to the 2x zoom as 6x was overkill anyway.

guess forcing to process 64 worlds is a bit to much for the game since it was never really intended to do that guess to have to alter some algorithems for that to work

Do you really want to force Reassembly to process 64 more reassembly worlds? 36 is enough, for most people. If you're super intent go to the file this mod makes in the Workshop directory (look up directions on how to get there) and change the KLiveRadius to whatever you want. Just make sure the KCachedSectors is also raised significantly.

You can use wormholes perfectly well. In fact, this mod changes so little about the game, it should be compatible with every other mod on the workshop exept mods that do the same thing as this.

1: Perhaps a way to remove the yellow "icon" for factories on the map, that way a swarm faction does not cause excessive clutter.


2: another modification suggestion for you: A way to remove the "Inactive" factories on the world, except for one. That way, all the places that have your factories on the map are created by you.

As it says in the description, Reassembly has to process 36 times the area in the world, leading to very high CPU load. If you're using integrated graphics, this will also produce a substantial FPS drop. I reccomend lowering the physics updates per second to the lowest possible, as even a beefy CPU will struggle.

Given the extremely short view range in this game and the reach of some cannons I've modified in C++, this is something I could really use for my benefit. Also, some ships I've been making have been getting rather... planetoid sized.
