Hey STORI3D. Any plans to update this one to 0.6? Remember when I asked about a Stonecutter mod based off this one? I think that might be even more useful than the Log Exchange in the new world.

That script is way too dense for my personal reading c# level. Great work, btw!

Have you considered some more elaborate construction sequences such as multiple sources and multiple destinations (A+B=1) or (A+B+C=2+1) instead of the current (D=1) scenario. The reason I ask is I had dreams of making a sawmill and other survival\cosmetic, crafting and trading mods.

Thx again I hope you continue with this!

Anyone who's ever tried building in Survival mode away from a forest should see the utility of this mod. A bit of planning ahead to create wood-cutting bags and you can build without having to stop to harvest logs constantly!
As for a Stone version,I agree, it would (and should) need a new model for a stone repository which means more work of course which I totally understand and respect. I meant concept-wise it would work pretty much the same. Before Keen added the shovel you could get stone practically by just sneezing! Now it's actually a bit more work which honestly doesn't bother me but puts stone quarrying on par with logging. Until they add AI workers you can direct to do these things (not holding my breath there!), mods like this one are very useful.

Hey TheBoot! Thanks much for the note, and I'm glad you're getting use out of it. The mod never really took off when I launched it, and I was afraid it was dead-on-arrival. A version that did this for stone would be great. It's trickier than it may seem though, because the stones would stack very stupidly if I just switched it out one-to-one. I'd have to create a new model for it, test it, etc. But I like the idea.

Just added this mod. It's incredibly useful. Have you thought about making a similar mod for stone? I'm currently building in an area where it's farther to go to harvest stone than it is to get logs. Hiring a stonecutter would be really helpful too I think. Same inventory size would be fine... 15 slots (x5 stone per slot). I think all you'd have to so is substitute an iron pickaxe for the iron hammer for the max harvest.

Glad it works! Yeah, this mod is meant to be like a different route to get the same thing. Give players a choice, if their chests are overflowing with food they want to get rid of, or have built far from a forest and it's a pain to go collect logs. For some maybe it's awesome, for others "meh!"

I really hope NPCs will comeback too. I tried the Mod. Works like a charm. This multiple inventory is brilliant! I am pretty excited about that. But I don't think I will really use this mod for playing much, I enjoy going to the forest and live really close to it :)

Hey Köbi! Thanks a lot. Chickens & dwarfs maybe in the next update :D. This mod doesn't mean really say anything one way or the other re future bots. I know players & devs both really want to find ways to get good NPCs into the game. I think they'd add a whole lot to the world. If they can be done right! I hope they do come back at some point.

Well hello! Nice work. No chickens and dwarfs though... And does this (especially dfs help) mean bots are never coming back?

Just a thought. That sounds way to difficult. I keep forgetting they have that wierd pose.

Something like that could work. I've never tried to place a figure before. I can find the FBX file for the characters. But I'd still need to learn everything about how to bend & move him so he stood sort of normal-looking. Doable, and would be a cool look! But I'd be starting from scratch. Hmm...

What about one just standing there with a axe in his. Like a forman that line out the workers.

It was a great guess! I'm still trying to see if there's a way to make a "bot" appear briefly, and then reappear carrying a log. But it looks kind of ... a major pain in the *** 8^D

Well, I was mostly right. Good Job you guys and thanks.
