usb sticks are a must have in any map the office report screen wont work properly without them
tick a few boxes that best matches the reports checkboxes in mymapinfo give usb stick an employee name if ya don't want random names=its really easy

i scanned the usb sticks into punchout machine and skipped the paperwork=i am proud of performance button to clockout
if you do the death reports you will get an even higher score if you guess the causes of death correctly
that union button can give a negative score if you guess it wrong
i want to do more for the company n fill out the paperwork is better than the union button
i am proud of performance if you hate doing paperwork n want to skip the paperwork
all office notes work fine it told me i was an award winning dumba$$
for those with ocd there is a huge crates stacking area to sooth your ocd
stack the other things like nitrogen barrels etc those are not a decoy
select vcd in steam library go to the updates tab
disable steam cloud sync permanently
open the games autosaves folder and delete all of the autosaves
open the backup folder in that folder and delete all of the backup autosaves
submit update now it wont fail to upload
usually what causes this is if you make a new map and its not on workshop yet the game will autosave your map
and you play it in the main game steam cloud will error rejecting the upload when your ready to put it on workshop
vcd works heaps better without steam cloud and in the game options set autosave to 0 disabled then the cloud wont drive you crazy

i got employee of the month last night so the map is working fine
unsub start the game wait for workshop to do its thing
exit the game and start it again then exit the game=game deleted your map files from game directory
copy n paste the files back into the game directory from your desktop copy
self subbing causes a loop where you be fixing the same file over n over again
so don't sub to your own map unless you testing its download
if you make a new map that map will be in a different upload folder in chdra stuff folder with the same directory setup this map has
i usually copy a folder from a previous map erase and replace its files and put it back in my upload folder
saves time setting up each folder in the upload folder and it wont dump your new level into this level
near the pie play button is a sound icon button press that to enable realtime sound
now you can hear the sound any time you press pie and it wont go pop anymore and disable all the sound on your pc
switch renderer to dx11 in file option where save as is if loading a bsp level flickers heaps with star shaped cubes
i have amd and this happens to me
nvidia im not sure if its the same or if a windows 10 update caused it
anyway some options that makes the editor more stable vs windows 10
on the swarm window seklect its settings
right at the very top is swarm cache directory
change the drive letter to the drive letter vcd is installed on
rebuild the lighting if it fails do it again and it wont fail
devs set the swarm cache to drive D vcd might be on your C drive
VCd is on my D drive
you moved something in editor=usually a trigger or volume or a light will cause this
go to build and build all will fix it
everything appears to be working properly
found 1 bug but an easy one to fix
look at the right bottom corner of the incinerator
there is an arm that gets stuck in the corner of the incinerator
move or delete the arm
go for a walk on the upper dome floor to make sure editor not make you fall through the floor
save your map copy the udk file from the game directory
to your desktop copy to replace the desktop udk file
start rustugc.exe select your map n press submit update
you have the
controls to the ships helm now she's all yours

can use a teleporter on the stuck arm for now

Also for teleporting back you need to touch VCPortalVolume_1 but that does not exist in the world.
And is it intentional that the Play Sound Kismet Node for the portal has no sound assigned? Or did you use assets from the DLCs there?
yeah some of us are still here with more maps to come
you will have to wait for Cydhra to upload the next patch to play this level as it will fix the map

i might give you some quantum bin machines that dispense normal size q bins that are same size as normal bins too
Ok now I know how to add USB sticks to the map, but I still don't know how to use them in the actual game :D
instant setup
quantum bins bulk teleport everything inside them vs core sample teleporters
actor classes list in content browser
type emp in search box
drag employee chip content into map raise off floor abit so it not get stuck in floor
open its properties
leave name blank for random names
tick boxes that best describe death and that best match report boxes in mymapinfo
copy n paste usb stick to add another one tick its boxes for next body n give it a name if want to
I know of the elevator control panel bug, but never found out what caused it. Z-fighting and geometry, I feel like, I fixed at some point, but if I did, I lost the files. So thanks I guess :D
Regarding USB sticks: To this date, I don't know how they work in-game, so I was unable to add them to the map, as I am completely dumbfounded by them. If you want to add some, go ahead, but I never understood them.
The welder is near the entrance to the dome, but I guess having two welders can't hurt.
Also check, whether there is a bucket dispenser in the "parallel dimension", I forgot whether it was there in the first versions.
However if you fixed the portal script (honestly I have no idea how to do this, because I never edited scripts in UE3. Basically taught myself the engine just using this map) your version might be better suited for an update.
tried my best to preserve the original function on the 1st portal when you turn it on
that bool stops player from teleporting had to add a 2nd portal volume to teleport the player
this volume wont teleport debris the other 2 volumes teleport debris
portal 2 in your dimension can teleport both players anf objects instantly
portal 1 has the original delay on it and debris shows the old particle events from the dinosoar head
so your portal system now has 3 portal volumes to fix teleport bug
i might as well hunt down n fix more stuff like those crates you cant pickup unless those are supposed to be like that=i will check that
im trying to keep it as close to the original version as possible
its using the old dinosar heads and the old portal volumes
it teleports debris objects and the janitor flawlessly
However, afaik the dev added some teleportation mechanic in an update, after I released the map, and that teleporter works much better for items. So I may have to find out how that teleporter works and use it instead. Gonne look into it.
