Works perfect with DEI 1.34 version.

For whatever reason my food demand been increasing exponentially in my Rome playthrough before, sure we have more people... however, I've been building/upgrading only food buildings & I was still somehow going down even harder. Even if I have same size army for few years by now...

Anyway, this is working perfectly ( tho tested only Rome faction). If it's now for someone, check your load order.
