normally problem case:
mods conflict.
> check mod list that runnable mod both.
> if some mod is conflict, check mod compatibility.
wrong config file.
> it need reset mod setting.
i found bug and fix it.
in my case, when change tool before animation end, then game crashed.
(mauser range attack > replace other tool > animation end (crash))
so i fixed that case.
your case also same as my case?

I can only attack him by changing weapons, but even so, after switching back to the rifle, I still cannot select it
Sometimes, when I pull out my gun and prepare to attack the enemy, there is always a situation where I accidentally trigger a charge action and get killed by the enemy, Because when a charge action is triggered, the character will be unable to move for a 2 seconds
Sometimes, the charge action freezes and appears stiff for a few seconds(Only using the bell or flute action will do this)
When I was shooting that gun, my friend was rowing while I was using the right button to continuously shoot the Emperor Crab. We tried it four times, and the timing of each game crash was different. Sometimes it was halfway through, and sometimes the game frozen when we were about to kill the Emperor Crab
in my used mods, there are only Sakura forest, Mitsuru (I was using him at the time), Spot (the character my friend used), and some auxiliary MODs (such as geometry and refrigerator permafrost)

I tested to kill King Crab using melee mode, ranged mode, and auto fire, but crash is doesn't occured.

You need to change weapon for use other weapon.
Booster is off when mauser is unequip.
So you need to charge action after equip mauser weapon.
But you catched because booster motion.
In reason, you want changed or improved charge action.
I understand correctly?

When fighting with the Ancient Fuelweaver, if the charge animation is bell, when the player is trapped by the Ancient Fuelweaver while switching weapons, the character will get stuck in the animation process and the shot will fail to hit the Ancient Fuelweaver
anyway, this weapon is prone to some headache inducing minor issues in boss battles
