The April update is somewhat large, I'll have to rewrite half of the modΣ(゚Д゚;. And I still don't have the newest DLC.

No. As far as I can tell,the trait is simply "chance to capture defeated cavalry class enemy units".
That just seems to be a boolean to allow capture. I think the chance is the same as the "capture combat as worker"-chance. Found no way to adjust this chance.
I have not updated to Rise&Fall, because the pack is not available on linux yet.
Siuwa (Co-author) is currently working on an update to Rise&Fall for my x10-mod. I will update the x3-mod as soon, as he is finished.
The x3-mod is also lagging behind the x10-mod a bit with some minor fixes. I forgot to update those.
But it should work now without gamebreaking bugs.
Is there anything useful in the log-files?
Maybe I'll just uncomment the civilization, which causes the crash.
If your UI is broken like that, it is more likely one of those mods. Or maybe an incompatibility. Although this mod does not mess with the UI, therefore it should be compatible with any UI mod.
If there is an incompatibility with x3 and an UI mod, please tell which one.
