cant plug the barrels into vehicles... i 49% hate that and 51% completely agree.

Yes that is correct. it has to deal with the amount of objects being rendered I believe. Until the game goes under optimization and reduces the load, this will be an issue. if you have multiple sites far enough away from each other to reduce the part count that is being generated, i believe that the transfers will work in those areas of smaller part counts. I had the same issue when I was playing. Though I have not played this game in some time. My base is getting very large and the game is getting quite laggy, so it hasnt been much of a joy to play. I do apologize for the mod not working properly after a certain part count has been reached.

Is there a problem with the item count?
I'm building a bigger base and suddenly the system stops to work. The Sender Barrels work (taking 300 units of resource), but the Receivers stopped getting stuff. I realised it, as the drills stopped working.
I loaded an older save game and it worked. This time I expanded my printer - and the wireless transfer stopped again after some point.
Third try. Loading a working save game, I expanded my base. And suddenly, the system stopped again.
Seems to be connected to the number of printed components.

FIxed, see change notes.

yes it used to work with those.. hmm i will have to look into it

It moves things quickly from the barrel slot to the tanks!! :) If it used to work with the drill/atmosphere processor/soil processor, that part is broken now. If it never worked with those, then it's still the same. :)

Looks like its working now. please give it a try and repost if its working for you, sorry for the dealy. Cheers!

looking into it right now fellas, been extremely busy with RL. I'll post when I have some success :)

@Jozo - just curious if this seems doable? I'm the original reason Mr. Monochrome posted about this. :)

@Mr. Monochrome

Ahh. Ok, I get where you are trying to attach it to... I'll have to look into it. Thanks.

@Jozo

I'm trying to send resource from the small wall with barrel slots to a tank outside. As when the LSM is set to Ext. ATM it produces O2, N2 and CO2 which can be collected from the wall with barrel slots.

{LINK REMOVED} <-- Can't attach sender

The resources I'm trying to send should then go outside to this tank.

{LINK REMOVED} <-- Reciever barrel outside attached to tank.

@Mr. Monochrome

Odd. I have no trouble connecting a sender barrel to any of the slots in the LSM. Resources go into the barrel and then when i move the corresponding recieving barrel into range, the resources transfer...

@Jozo

The sender barrel needs a "RscBrlOut" slot, as you can't collect the O2, N2 or CO2 from the LSM through the barrel wall slot without one.

No you are indeed correct, when there are around 300 items being generated, the barrels cannot transfer. the fix for this is optimization but for now, the only way around this is to move things approximately 150 meters away from each other. At least for me 150 meters works. may depend on your graphics and how far you are rendering objects.
Nusiance 15 Jul, 2017 @ 8:05pm
it seems that it will stop working if you have too many barrels. Mine stopped transfering when I had 30 barrels out. It also seemed to stop working when I was building my base, too many items on the map?? Or am i missing something?
Jozo  [author] 3 Jul, 2017 @ 5:32pm
updated to approx 100 meters
Jozo  [author] 2 Jul, 2017 @ 2:08pm
@Mr. Monochrome

General vicinity yes but further than a cable or two, more like 5 cables stretched to the max,
Mr. Monochrome [Hood Certified] 2 Jul, 2017 @ 2:05pm
@Jozo

So like general vacinity if you had some machines set up and cables stretched to max.
Jozo  [author] 2 Jul, 2017 @ 2:03pm
@Mr. Monochrome

Nowhere near that far. Using a rangefinder from in game its about 50 meters. in game thats about a 12 second sprint in a light suit.
Mr. Monochrome [Hood Certified] 2 Jul, 2017 @ 1:59pm
@Jozo

How far does it go currently? Like middle of Victoria Crater to the wall far? I haven't tried it myself just had the questions.
Jozo  [author] 2 Jul, 2017 @ 1:54pm
@Mr. Monochrome

Weight is fine for the tanks even when full. Less than a regular full barrel

What would you like to see the distance at? It's currently at around 50m. I didnt want to go too far with the distance otherwise you will end up sending resources halway across the map lol. Give me an idea of how far and I will look into it.
Mr. Monochrome [Hood Certified] 2 Jul, 2017 @ 1:36pm
Just a question... But did you account for the change in mass vs. the new amount in each barrel? So that it's still possible to move the barrel while filled.

Also can you increase the distance for sending/recieving the resource?

Nice to see this revived though.
